“And being found in
fashion as a man, (Jesus) humbled Himself, and became obedient unto ...the death of
the cross.” [Phillipians 2:7]
“Though He were a Son,
yet (He) learned obedience by the things He suffered; And being made perfect
(fully matured), He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that
obey Him.” [Hebrews 5:8-9]
Case in point,
regarding “obedience” being “fulfilled;” Jesus commanded His disciples, “If thou wilt be perfect
(fully
matured), Come and follow Me ...and Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” [2 Cor 10:6b; Matt
19:21; 5:48]
Although Jesus was
equal (one) with God (the Father), as a man He made Himself of no reputation;
but became the abiding Godhead in the frailty of human flesh ...for the “glory
of God” is man. [Phil 2:6; Pastor]
Jesus said, “Herein is My Father
glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples (or followers).”
Like the man Christ
Jesus, the perfect (fully matured) man was made to speak a thing and it becomes
so.
