Our God Reigns!

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.”  [Romans 16:20]

In this “Keeping It (the truth, as it is, in Jesus) Real” segment, I want to admit that at one time I really rejected the notion that the body of Christ would be used to subdue the enmity, and, thus, prepare the way for Christ's return.

But, when Rebekah was sent away, to be Isaac's wife; part of the prophetic blessing, from her family, was that her “seed possess the gate of those which hate them.”

[Gen 24:60]

Then, when Joshua instructed his soldiers to “put (their) feet upon the necks of these (five captured) kings;” Joshua told them to “ ...be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.”

[Joshua 10:24-25] 

This gives new perspective to “ ...til I make You enemies Your footstool.”  [Psalms 110:1; Matthew 22:44]

“And (God) hath put all things under (Christ's) feet, and (given) Him to be the head over 'all things' to the church: which is His body ...” Selah.

[Ephesians1:22]

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

As our Lord is speaking forth and teaching us from a paradigm shift, we can be assured that HE will perform the truths.  His very WORD will come to pass right in our midst.  Expect to be that “chosen” vessel through whom HE will manifest Himself for a witness.  Yes, HE is “going deep”, yet every WORD HE speaks must be established.  

So let us gird up the loins of our minds for the working of the HOLY GHOST in us and through us.  HIS WORD SHALL NOT RETURN TO HIM VOID OF HIS POWER.

The HOLY GHOST demolition team is at work:  WORD, BELIEVING and REPENTANCE.  Hallelujah!

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

The Lord reminded me of this experience that HE gave me and that was shared with you.  We are His and HE takes care of us!  May you receive the grace to call upon our Father to be strengthened by the same ONE who ministered LIFE in this situation.

I bowed my knees in the early morning with so many thoughts elevated in my mind.  I had assessed my financial and physical needs and came to the conclusion that I was in “pretty bad shape.”  I succumbed to the “spirit of heaviness”, and for a time I was mute before the Father.  Discerning what state I was in at that moment, I proceeded to lift my hands to offer my body to HIM.  Before I knew it HE quickened me to speak in simplicity, “Lord, I praise YOU; Lord, I worship YOU.”  Then I asked the Holy Ghost to give to me what I should pray, and this is how HE responded:  “Pray for Wendy.  Pray for Ms Gladys.  Pray for Jerry.  Pray for Elder Green.  Pray for Kerry.  Pray for Lori…”  HE called each one of my Grace and Truth family by name and strengthened me to utter to our Father concerning you.  The time went quickly, and when HE released me to rise and prepare for the day’s course, I realized that not one word had been uttered to HIM concerning “my” financial and physical “need.”  However, I clearly heard the Holy Ghost say, “BUT your GOD shall supply all of your need according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS.”

…And it came to pass that the pain and discomfort I felt before prayer that morning were no longer manifested in my body.  …And it came to pass that a crisp $100.00 bill was placed in my hand before the day ended.  Hallelujah!

Our Daddy’s love is awesomely demonstrated by His wonderful salvation given to us by JESUS CHRIST!

BE ENCOURAGED to TRUST HIM WHO LOVES US!

You Are What/Who You Eat!

As one colloquial expression puts it 'garbage in, garbage out' . 

This year, we are going to have an ongoing “Keeping 'It' Real” segment. “It” being “the truth,” as “it” is, in Jesus.

[Pastor; Ephesians 4:20-21]

In order that we might truly be renewed in the spirit of our minds, the Comforter is going to refine our diet; and teach us, the more, Christ IN us, the hope of glory.

[Ephesians 4:22; John 14:26; Colossians 1:27]

Here is the opening salvo: “(the 'new') man lives by both bread and bread; aka, a double PICC (or life) line;” for the maintenance of the body, and the inner man.

[Pastor] 

“For man shall not live by (natural) bread alone, but by every word (the living bread) that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

[Matthew 4:4]

While we need “a body” to do the will of God, we are “spiritually” dead without the “engrafted word,”  to energize us.

[Hebrews 10:5, 7; James 1:21]

Jesus said, “The flesh (mortality) profiteth nothing: the words (of eternal life) that I speak unto you, (those words) are Spirit, and they are life.” [John 6:63; 68]

OH, OOOOH, HE GIVES ME VICTORY!

My Grace and Truth family,

Do you remember when our Lord spoke to us during a recent gathering and bid us to “ask of HIM”?  HE spoke these words repeatedly thereafter in other times of worship as HE wooed us into fellowship with HIMSELF.

Well, I have reaped benefits from His invitation to come to Him and “ask”.  Strengthened by the Holy Ghost with boldness, I have made pretty unusual requests (as I see it).  To my wonder and amazement, though, HE has given the petitions that I desired of HIM.  I have testimony after testimony!

“Hear” the Lord again today and “ask” of Him.  This is “HIS will” for us!

Onward Christian Soldiers

As 'time' marches on, toward eternity; the mantra, to the believer, becomes 'Shine, Believers Shine!' “that men might see (His good works in you), and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” [M. Hollis; Pastor; Matthew 5:16]

Jesus preached, declaring: “The time promised by God is come, and the (invisible) kingdom of God is at hand (being made visible); repent (have a change of mind), and believe the gospel (as seeing the invisible).”
[Mark 1:15; Hebrews 11:27 “by faith”]

You could say that “faith” transforms us “from being comfortable with the visible, to being intimate with the invisible.” For, truly, “the kingdom of God is within;” such that the words of the song ring true: SOMETHING ON THE INSIDE IS WORKING (being made manifest) ON THE OUTSIDE.

So, as we (the Church) move forward, in 2013; let us be determined to move forward “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher (beginning and ending) of our faith.” 

[Hebrews 12:2]
