Call Me

We learned, from the word: The “Wait” Of The Lord, this week, that there are 'two' waits; our “wait” for the Lord, and the Lord's (“wait”) for us.
[Pastor]

Speaking of the “wait” of the Lord; His grace, which is sufficient for us, requires our helplessness ...for when we are helpless His strength is made perfect.
[Pastor; 2 Cor 12:9-10]

“Why the “wait?” Because the Lord only works in a sphere where we are totally helpless!” Except we call on Him.
[Pastor]

In the “Eye  hath not seen, nor ear heard ...” department; the Lord says:

“Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
[1 Cor 2:9; Jer 33:3]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I MISS MY TIME WITH YOU;
THOSE MOMENTS TOGETHER.
I NEED TO BE WITH YOU EACH DAY,
AND IT HURTS ME WHEN YOU SAY
YOU'RE TOO BUSY;
BUSY TRYING TO SERVE ME;
BUT HOW CAN YOU SERVE ME,
WHEN YOUR SPIRIT'S EMPTY?
THERE'S A LONGING IN MY HEART;
WANTING MORE THAN JUST A PART OF YOU.
IT'S TRUE ...
I MISS MY TIME WITH YOU.

Jenelsie's Corner (#292)

My Grace and Truth Family,

The Lord does answer “our” questions; HE addresses “our” struggles.  Our GOD is relevant!  Just re-hear the WORD from Wednesday evening, “The WAIT of the Lord.”  HE gave understanding to me about the “place” I’m in today.  As it is written, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”  HE “is” who and what we need!

Our God is awesome!  Hallelujah!

Grow Up!

Unto (Christ) IN ALL THINGS;” that we henceforth be no more children. [Ephesians 4:11-15]

In this week's word: A “Child” No More, I heard the Spirit urging us to “put away childish things;” and be about our Father's business.
[1 Cor 13:11; Luke 2:49]

As men, and women, of God; we subsist on a different diet ...no more “milk” (first principles, etc), but the strong “meat” of the word; that we might do the Father's will.
[1 Cor 3:2; Heb 5:14; John 4:34]

If we, as believers, are to leave a legacy (example) of faith  to the next generation; then we must walk in the Spirit, and yield to the process of “the perfecting of the saints;” spoken of in Ephesians.
[Philippians 3:17; Ephesians 4:11-13]

It is written, “He which hath begun a good work IN you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
[Phil 1:6]

We are soldiers in the Lord's army, and He will perfect (mature) that which concerns Him; as we present our bodies.
[Psalms 138:8; Rom 12:1]

So, let the transformation continue.
[Romans 12:2]

AND MY FINGERS FOR BATTLE!

The Exchange

The will of the Father is that mankind, (His creation), would be reconciled to Him. So He sent His Son “in the likeness of sinful flesh;” that “through death He (the Son) might destroy him (the devil) that had the power of death; and deliver (us) who ...were ...subject to (a lifetime of) bondage.” [2 Cor 5:18; Rom 8:3; Heb 2:14-15]

Abba accomplished this reconciliation by sending Jesus, the Tree of Life; that we were banished from (in the garden), to us; that, after we were redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; and indwelt by His Spirit, we might be able   to “Take (and) eat of the Tree of Life” and “be connected to, and sustained by, another energy” (from above).    [Gen 3:22; 1 Cor 11:24; Rev 2:7; Pastor]

Hence, just as the first bite in the garden connected mankind to the “energy of death,” our second bite (of the flesh of Christ, by faith; and the respondent kiss of the Spirit) connected us to the “energy of (eternal) Life.”
[Pastor]

What an exchange.

Jenelsie's Corner (#291)

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

I just want to remind you of HIS WORD spoken in days past and how HE connects the dots so we can receive with a fuller understanding now.  HE has said to us “…that the sufferings (the ‘bad and hurting’ experiences) of this present (today) time are not worthy (don’t even rank) to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

What’s the “glory”?  In the midst of pain and tears, HIS SPIRIT in us provokes honoring HIM as our GOD in worship—that’s glory.  What’s the “glory”?  With all the disappointment, HIS SPIRIT in us provokes us to yield to His will and not ours.  What’s the “glory”?  HE brings us to Himself as believers and strengthens in the persuasion that HE is working all things together for good.  What’s the “glory”?  HE is “working” in us to respond to His love according to His purpose.  What’s the “glory”?  HE manifests Himself through us while we are yet suffering.  We are His “glory”.  How GREAT is our GOD!!!

Hallelujah to our LORD!

Jenelsie's Corner (#290)

My Grace and Truth Family,

Saints, our Father God remains faithful to perform His Word—though we may “think” differently for a season.  The Holy Ghost is at work to bring our minds into “oneness” with the Lord Jesus Christ about His faithfulness while we go through situations.  So don’t draw back or turn aside from the “hearing” of His WORD.  The WORD affects our pattern of thinking and strengthens us to wait on our GOD, who will “come through.”  “Hear” what the Spirit of our God is saying.  In other words, while HE is speaking pay attention (submit our minds to)—give the more earnest heed.  It’s not time to go to the bathroom, engage in conversation with our neighbor, text on the phone, dig for candy, recall the events of yesterday, look up Scriptures in the Bible, or even pray while HE is ministering to us; we miss what HE is saying when we are engaged in other things—not by law but unto edification.  Let him/her who has an ear, hear what our LORD is saying.  HE is teaching us how to receive HIS WORD which does transform our thinking.  As HIS people, His children, His church, we live by HIS WORD “living” in us.  Let us yield to this “work” of the Holy Ghost, and we will learn of a certainty of HIS FAITHFULNESS.

Now unto HIM to the praise of HIS Name!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie, Pastor’s wife

And He Took Bread

...and said , “Take, eat; this is My body. Which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. ”
[1 Cor 11:24]

In this segment of “Keeping 'It' Real,” we want to emphasize “the virtue of participating in this remembrance.” [Pastor]

Scripture records “The Jews ...strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” To which Jesus replied, “Verily ...I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood; you have no life in you.”

The revelation here is that as we partake of the “bread” and the “cup,” believing all thinks are possible; God is able to make His Word and His will our meat; even our life; “the activity of God, in us, thru us, and for us.”
[John 4:34; 6:54; Pastor]

Communion is a renewal and reaffirmation of our covenant union, and life, with Him.
