The Idea Of Prayer Part 2

Abba's purpose/or intent from before the foundation of the world was to “join” (or restore) “us” to the dynamic conversation of the Godhead; called “prayer.”
[Pastor]

After the fall, man's ability to “participate” in that conversation was repressed, and began to deteriorate progressively; as the separation of sin set in.
[Pastor; Isa 59:2]

But Jesus; Who is the fullness of The Godhead, came, from the bosom of the Father, to save that which was lost; and reconcile us to the Father, by His life ...saying, “Father... I pray ...that they also may be one IN US, (as Thou, Father, art IN Me, and I IN Thee); that we might be restored (or re-joined) to the eternal conversation of The Godhead, through the dynamic of prayer.
[Col 2:9; Lk 19:10; Rom 5:10; Jn 17:21; Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

ONE THING HAVE I DESIRED OF THE LORD
THAT WILL I SEEK AFTER (or ever pray for),
THAT I MAY DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD
ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE,
TO BEHOLD THE BEAUTY, THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD;
TO INQUIRE IN HIS TEMPLE; THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD.

[Psalms 27:4]

Jenelsie's Corner (11/22)

My Grace and Truth Family,

My conversation with our Father has become so glorious! I have discussed, even to the point of confession, admission, and repentance, subject matter which has been hidden most of my life. In turn I have heard our Dad speak to me with words which answered, clarified, and comforted. Our dialogue has been a wonderful and sweet communion. I hear myself saying just what our Lord Jesus has said as the first begotten Son of Father in the earth. Now I speak as one also begotten: "I can do nothing of my own accord... I can only do what I see You do and say what I hear You say." This emerging understanding of eternal life (shared life with Jesus) is just awesome!!

My brothers and sisters, I am joyful and blessed when I hear of what your experiences are like in this "new fellowship" with the "Godhead." What a great salvation!!

Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

The Idea Of Prayer

There is much to be said about prayer; which is our “un-beginning and un-ending conversation” within The Godhead. [Pastor] So look at this missive/or written communication as one more installment on this vital subject; til He returns. [Lk 18:1, re. prayer]

Jesus, The Son of The Living God [Jn 6:69]; whose very being was filled,”imbedded,” infused, with prayer [Pastor], said, “Seek ye (pray, ask, knock, inquire) first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness {covenantal relationship};[Pastor; Matt 6:33] You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.[Matt 6:33b/msg; 6:6; Ps 2:8; Matt 7:7; Ps 27:4]

The ministry of Christ was modeled perfectly by the Psalmist, David; who said, “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” [Ps 55:17; Jn 11:41-42]

Prayer, the practice of asking and receiving, is “the only legal means for the Father to release anything (unto you) out of the kingdom.” [Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

IF YOU ABIDE IN ME,
AND MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU,
ASK WHAT YOU WILL
IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU!

[Jn 15:7]

Jenelsie's Corner (11/08)

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

The manner in which our Father is giving and relating to us is so "characteristic" of parent and child. Yet His love for us is far beyond what our experiences have been as parents and as having received from natural parents. HIS definition of "love in Christ Jesus" is really what HE has to explain and give "word picture" meaning for us to comprehend on any level. There is a depth, a width, a length, and a breadth of HIS love which HE expresses and manifests according to a predetermined plan of action. And we cannot make HIM deviate from HIS purpose; after all, HE is the Father, and as HIS child we don't tell HIM what to do. As HE proceeds to teach us, however, we learn as we receive that HIS plan for us is "good"! HE demonstrates to us that HE is a good, good FATHER in a very tangible way--HE knows how to reach us!! HE loves us!!

Hallelujah! Thank you, Daddy!

Your sister,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

What To Do When

(King) David was a case study in How to Handle Adversity (enmity/envy/resentment) after great triumph (ie. Goliath).
[1 Samuel 17]

In other words, “What To Do When,” after glorious success, the bottom seems to fall out; or, all hell seems to break loose?
[Pastor; 1 Samuel 18]

Elijah, who cried, “Lord, take my life!” [1 Ki 19:4];   and Job, who worshipped the Lord [Job 1”20], after living an exemplary life [Job 1:8] are just two other examples of the inevitable contradictions of success.

David understood “covenant,” and proved by his response to adversity that “covenant” Love never fails.
[Pastor; Psalm 11:1; 59:1-9; 6:4b]

Because of the “covenant” of Love, we need never succumb to despair; but, rather slip away and breathe His name (pray); and find that an open conversation with Jesus will prove to be your spiritual vitamin.
[Pastor; Psalm 18:3]

ThenSingsMySoul:

UNTO THEE, O LORD,
DO I LIFT UP MY SOUL (repeat)
O, MY GOD, I TRUST IN THEE
LET ME NOT BE ASHAMED,
LET NOT MINE ENEMIES TRIUMPH OVER ME!

[Psalm 25:1-2]
