The Release - Preaching Of The Gospel

When Jesus preached, there was an accompanyment of signs and wonders/or the ability of the effectual power of the release of His preaching; that was manifest that very moment. [Pastor; Matt 4:23]

When Jesus preached, not only did the “word” (aka the gospel of the kingdom) go out, but deliverance was being made manifest, in the dynamic power of His preaching.
[Pastor; Matt 9:35]

And Jesus said, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem ...Judaea ...Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  [Acts 1:8]

The preacher, in me, wants to say: power to walk right, power to talk right, power to turn the world upside down.            [Acts 17:5-6]

 ThenSingsMySoul:

WE ARE NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST,
FOR IT IS GOD'S POWER OF SALVATION;
TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVES IT ...
TO EVERY ONE THAT RECEIVES IT ...
THEY SHALL HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

Repent Ye, and Believe

To be able to believe, there must be a repentance/exchange-change of mind, from “the lie” to “the Truth.”
[Pastor]

Mark recorded: “John (the Baptist) did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto (John) all the land of Judea, and ...Jerusalem, and (they)were all baptized of him ...confessing their sins.”
[Mk 1:4-5]

I might add that those who were not baptized of John were rejecting the counsel of God against themselves, and against unbelief; for without the repentance of faith it is impossible to please God, and receive Christ.
[Lk 7:29; Matt 11:20-22; 13:58; Heb 11:6]

Repentance is to respond to, or choose to believe “the truth” (God's Word), over against “the lie.”
[Pastor]

The release/or preaching of the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that repents and believes.
[Rom 1:18; Mk 1:14-15]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I'VE BEEN CHANGED, HEALED, FREED, DELIVERED!
I'VE FOUND JOY, PEACE, GRACE, AND FAVOR!
SO, I WON'T GO BACK; CAN'T GO BACK
TO THE WAY LIFE USED TO BE;
BEFORE YOUR SPIRIT CAME AND CHANGED ME!

Resurrection Reprise - What Happened For Us?

When the Lord, God, thru the prophet Jeremiah, invited: “Call upon Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not;” He was reaffirming His eternal covenant purpose to give us access to 'participate in the godhead; by asking and receiving.' [Jer 33:3; Pastor]

 Asking is prayer, and prayer is asking; or responding to the invitation from the Lord, to “Ask of Me ...” Hence, the admonition to “pray without ceasing.”
[Pastor; Ps 2:8; 1 Thess 5:7]

Again, in Psalm 91, the most High God declares, concerning His Son (implied): “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer Him ...and shew Him my salvation”
[Ps 91:15-16]

David's response was: “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.”  What a blessed assurance. [Ps 55:17]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD,
WHO IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED:
SO SHALL I BE SAVED FROM MY ENEMIES;
I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD.

BECAUSE THE LORD LIVETH,
AND BLESSED BE MY ROCK,
LET THE GOD OF MY SALVATION BE EXALTED! (repeat)

[Ps 18:3, 46]

Jenelsie's Corner (#343)

My Grace and Truth Family,

You know, my brothers and sisters, there is a rest that yet remains for the people God.  Our Lord Jesus says  for us to come unto HIM--whomever is laboring with heavy burdens.  HE offers, even assures, rest.  HE yokes HIMSELF with us so we can learn from HIM and of HIM.  HIS entire personhood as HE walked in the earth was one of meekness and lowliness in heart towards our FATHER.  HE will teach us how to receive and respond to our FATHER. Jesus declares that through the yoking we shall find rest unto our souls.

Hallelujah!
Your sister,
Jenelsie

Jenelsie's Corner (#342)

My family at GTFI,

The testimony of the Lord is sure, and this truth is HIS 'now-ness'; HE is for us and towards us now.  In HIS presence today, the Holy Ghost is at work to bring our minds into oneness with the truth.  This oneness is a place of rest for our minds.  Our Lord Jesus joins us to Himself, who is the TRUTH and says for us to "come to Him".  HE pours out His testimony of WHO HE IS in love, grace, mercy, favor, forgiveness, provision...today!  Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie
Pastor's wife
