Jenelsie's Corner (11/27/16)

My Grace and Truth Family,

How the time has passed so swiftly in this year! Yet we can take comfort in knowing that nothing is behind time nor before time for us--the elect of God, the children of God, the saints. Everything that takes place is by the will of our Father at the right time, even the appointed time. As we take confidence in the "working" of Holy Ghost in us, for us, and through us, we will come to "know" again of His faithfulness to fulfill every Word spoken to us out from His mouth individually and as "Grace and Truth."

Our Lord Jesus has given us His life to His church--a life filled with waiting on our Father with patience. During the "time" of "waiting," Jesus has already proven that "...all things work together for good to them that love (respond to Him) God, to them who are the called (that's us children) according to His purpose (His promise)..." So my brothers and sisters, be reminded that we don't walk by time, but we walk by faith!

Let us rejoice in Him together! Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

No Repentance, No Conversion

When Jesus preached, “Repent, and believe the gospel (of the kingdom of God),” He was setting in order the steps to salvation. (to repent/& believe)
[Mark 1:15, 14]

To enter “the kingdom of God” is to be “saved.” And to be “saved” is to be “born again.” [John 3:3] And to be “born again” is to be “born of the Spirit.” [John 3:5-6](aka,  a new state of being). For Behold, all things are become new. [Pastor; 2 Corinthinians 5:17]

Lest we forget, it is “godly sorrow” (a change of mind, regarding sin) that “worketh repentance to salvation” [2 Corinth 7:10]...to the acknowledging of the truth” (of the gospel of the kingdom)[2 Timothy 2:25]

As a child of the King (a “new creation”), “It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
[Luke 12:32]

ThenSingsMySoul:

A CHANGE, A CHANGE
HAS COME OVER ME;
HE CHANGED MY LIFE AND NOW I'M FREE.
HE WASHED AWAY ALL MY SINS,
AND HE MADE ME WHOLE,
HE WASHED ME WHITE AS SNOW.

A WONDERFUL CHANGE HAS COME OVER ME

A WONDERFUL CHANGE HAS COME OVER ME

Jenelsie's Corner (11/20/16)

My GTFI Family,

As your sister, my words of exhortation and comfort in the midst of trouble, conflict, wiles, and temptation are simply this: "In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct your paths... But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.... Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom... But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of HIM who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light--the kingdom of His dear Son!

Hallelujah! Rejoice with me!! Our Father loves us!

With the love of the Lord,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

His Purpose For "The Preaching"

Preaching is not (just) to get the Word out, but to provoke a response. [Pastor]

And the scripture, foreseeing that God (Who) would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, “In Thee Shall All Nations Be Blessed.” [Galations 3:8]

God preached to Abraham, that he would respond to The Word that he heard. [Pastor]

So Abram (aka Abraham) departed, as The Lord had spoken unto him ...and By faith ...when he was called...(Abraham) went out, not knowing whither he went.
[Genesis 12:4; Hebrews 11:8]

In this (response) is the dependency, of which “faith” is. As we grow/or mature, we have more confidence in what He says, (rather) than what we feel. [Pastor]

As (we) take (our) hands off the plow (of life), and lift them (and our lives) unto (The Lord); we minister unto Him our dependency, and enter into His rest.
[Pastor; Hebrews 4:10]

ThenSingsMySoul:

...THE LORD HAS SPOKEN,

LET THE CHURCH SAY AMEN!

Jenelsie's Corner (11/13/16)

My dear GTFI Family,

Who would have "thunk" that the love of Father God extends to us in such an intimate and relevant manner! HE has taken His time to prepare our hearts, even to strengthen them, to continue in the faith amid every trial and tribulation we face. Yes, HE has delivered His Word of Promise, His Word of Truth--His Word of Faith--to ground and settle us so that we are not moved away from the hope of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which we have heard through preaching. HE is a good, good Father! "Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God..."

We are so blessed by Him at GTF! Hallelujah!

Your sister,
Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

Kingdom "Think," vs. "They Think"

The Lord has said, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts ...” So, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in (My Son) Christ Jesus.” For what is needful; in order to partake of, and reap the fruit of, the Kingdom of God, is a 'new'  Kingdom “Think” paradigm.                                     Hence, a renewing of the mind is in order.
[Isaiah 55:8; Philippians 2:5; Pastor; Romans 12:2]

Thinking is the precursor (or forerunner), or 'new' passport, to Asking (praying) and Receiving the inheritance of the saints in light.                          [Pastor; Colossians 1:12]

When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, He cautioned against what “They (the Gentiles) Think,” using vain repetition; as if to manipulate God. Rather, Jesus taught that, in the Kingdom, God is our Father, Who has made us meet (able/as sons) to be partakers of the Kingdom; through the dynamic of Asking and Receiving ...versus the Gentiles, who know not, or have no relationship with God, as (Abba) Father.
[Matthew 6:7-8; Pastor; 1 Thessalonians 4:5]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS,
I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS,
I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS,
NO TURNING BACK,

NO TURNING BACK.
