Jenelsie's Corner (#344a)

My family at Grace and Truth,

My hope for those united with this assembly is that we would all " choose the greater part", sit at the feet of our Lord, and receive "words of eternal life."  HIS "words" contain and reveal the love of the Father to us.  HIS "words" contain the power to effect and impact us from day to day, hour by hour.  The "greater part" brings us to "learning of " HIM--to knowing HIM and experiencing eternal life.
Let us pray one for the other.

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie

To Know Love

On the day of Pentecost, we (who believed) were brought into (filled, or baptized with) an “abiding” relationship with the Holy Spirit of truth; Whom Jesus promised would no longer dwell with us, but be IN us.
[Pastor; Jn 14:16-17]

Without this supernatural connection of the Spirit, “abiding” within, we could never “know” (or reach out and experience) the breadth, plumb the depths, or rise to the heights of Abba's LOVE for us; His beloved. [Pastor; Eph 3:16-17/MSG; Song of Solomon 2:4]

Now we have received the Spirit which is of God: that we might “know” the things that are freely given to us of God; for the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. For nothing shall be able to separate us from the LOVE of God, which is IN Christ Jesus our Lord.
[1 Cor 2:12, 11(b); Rom 8:35-39]

Jesus said: “This is life eternal, that they (we) might “know” Thee (Abba, Father) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom Thou (Abba, Father) hast sent ...Thou IN Me, and I IN Thee ...(and) they IN Us.”
[Jn 17:3; 21]

ThenSingsMySoul:

TO “KNOW,” “KNOW,” “KNOW” HIM
IS TO LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HIM

… AND (WE) DO!

Baptism, An Absolute Necessity

When Jesus submitted to John's water baptism, He  left us an example; that we should follow His steps.
[Matt 3:13-15; 1 Pet 2:21(b)]

Baptism is the 'right of passage' unto salvation …and “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.”
[Mk 16:16]

Because we are physical beings, our salvation incorporates our physicality; hence, the water baptism, and, even the sacraments (the bread and the wine); all of which is a natural manifestation of a supernatural administration. [Pastor; 1 Cor 11:26]

“And Jesus (in Whom is salvation), when He was baptized, went straightway out of the water: and ...the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him.”
And, after the wilderness temptation, Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee; and His fame spread throughout the region. [Matt 3:16; Lk 4:14]

ThenSingsMySoul:

GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS,
GO, GO, GO! (repeat)
BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER,
THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST!
GO, GO, GO!

[Matt 28:19]

Jenelsie's Corner (#344)

My Grace and Truth Family,

The proverbial adage, 'there's no place like home' is certainly true for me today.  I missed worshipping our Lord together, singing songs of praise, and just being encouraged by "like-minded" brothers and sisters.  The meal that HE feeds us is so good--well seasoned and meaty.  HIS milk which HE served nourished and has caused us to grow.  And  "every time we are gathered together in HIS Name, there HE is also in power and in strength."  We are surely blessed!  Hallelujah!

Your sister,
Jenelsie

The River, Out From Life

After the Resurrection, we; who have repented, believed, and confessed Jesus Christ as Lord, are “born again”/regenerated, with “new” Life; out from death.
[Pastor, 2 Cor 5:17; Jn 3:7; 14:6]

When Jesus appeared unto His disciples, after His Resurrection, He immediately breathed on them and said: “Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” This was a foretaste of the wellspring of living water that would be received, at Pentecost, not many days hence.
[Jn 20:22; 4:10; Pastor; Acts 1:5]

note. You cannot receive the Promise of Pentecost if you have not received the salvation that only Resurrection affords, thru Christ.
[Pastor; Acts 1:4; Eph 2:8]

Jesus gave a glimpse into this coming supernatural event, when he told the woman, at the well of Samaria:
“... whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give ... shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give... shall be in them a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
[Jn 4:14]

This “water”/river springs out from the “Life” of the Spirit, that is within.

ThenSingsMySoul:

THERE IS A RIVER OF LIFE FLOWING OUT OF ME
IT MAKES THE LAME TO WALK, AND THE BLIND TO SEE;
IT OPEN'S PRISON DOOR'S, SETS THE CAPTIVE FREE,

THERE IS A RIVER OF LIFE FLOWING OUT OF ME.

The Shift

...at the Resurrection; in the dimension of the Godhead; unveiled out of  Pentecost. First, the person of Jesus Christ ascended back to the Father; while the Holy Ghost (the third person of the Godhead) descended from heaven, to baptize/indwell/or fill the believer.
[Pastor; Eph 4:10]

When Jesus was baptized the heavens were opened unto Him, and John the Baptist saw the Spirit descending, like a dove, and remaining upon Him. [Matt 3:15-16]

Later, before His ascension to the Father, Jesus told His disciples: “John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.”
[Acts 1:5]

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come ...they were all filled/submerged/overwhelmed with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak. So, as the promised Spirit descended, Jesus ascended; thus the shift in the Godhead.
[Acts 2:1, 4; Lk 24:49; Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I CAN FEEL YOU FLOWIN' THRU ME,
HOLY SPIRIT, COME AND FILL ME UP,
COME AND FILL ME UP!

LOVE AND MERCY, FILL MY SENSES.
I AM THIRSTY FOR YOUR PRESENCE, LORD,
COME AND FILL ME UP!
