Jenelsie's Corner (03/29/15)

My Grace and Truth Family,

My words to you today amplify the exaltation of our Lord Jesus, giving thanks to our Father God.  Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.  Jesus was not born to live in a body to be ministered to, but He came to minister and to give His life a ransom for many.  The life of God is given to us!

HE fitted His life into humanity so that you and I could receive it--His life.   HIS nature is to reveal Himself to us.  HIS plan, even purpose,  is to connect with us.  JESUS came to be received.  We who have received Him have been given the power to become the sons and daughters of the "most high God."
Oh, magnify our Lord Jesus with me, and let us exalt HIS NAME together!!

Hallelujah!!

Your sister,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

To Minister His Life

Jesus (The Word made flesh) was born, saying: “The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
[Matthew 20:28]

God became flesh (like us) to give (or, impart) His life (the Life of God) unto us, so “it” (His life) can be ours
...living bread, to be eaten; for assimilation (absorption/digestion), to become one with.
[Pastor]

If we could paraphrase the Lord's intent, He would say, “I didn't come for you to be 'like Me,' I came to 'be Me' IN you! ...not to be employed (or, used), but to be received (or, contained)!”
[Pastor; John 1:12]

I GAVE MYSELF TO YOU,
SO I COULD USE YOU!

Jenelsie's Corner (03/22/15)

Grace and Truth Family,

Our Father God has given full proof of His faithfulness, and even His willingness, to reveal Himself through the person of our Lord Jesus.  HE says we can know HIM; Jesus says HE will show us the Father.  How wonderful!  Daddy put the longing and desire in us to know HIM.  And HE made it possible--made the way.  Jesus said, "I am the truth...way...and life."  'RECEIVE' me--"eat MY flesh and drink MY blood"--His invitation to whosoever.  In so doing we receive eternal life-- knowing the Father, we shall do exploits in the earth!

Hallelujah!!

Behind Every "No"

There is a paradigm/or pattern in the scriptures that veils Abba's good intent/or pleasure to give us the kingdom.
[Luke 12:32]

Contrary to being 'a walk in the park,' Abba has ordained that the kingdom (even the promises of God) be apprehended by violent/intense/or forceful “asking” faith.
[Matthew 11:12; Pastor;James 4:2]

In the kingdom, every “no” is a door(way) to “yes” ...to the Jew first, also to the Greek/Gentile believer.
[Pastor; Romans 1:16]

This paradox, or seemingly contrary, but true statement, is best illustrated in the persistent neighbor, in [Luke 11:5-10]; the widow and the unjust judge, in [Luke 18:1-8]; and the Gentile woman, of Canaan, in [Matt 15:22-28]; where each principle (or individual) faced down imminent rejection (or a “no”), but persevered (in asking) until they came away with (or laid hold of) the promised “yes.”

Milk Before Meat

This paradigm of “milk before meat” speaks of the steps of growth and maturity needed, IN Christ ...before we are able to taste that the Lord is good.
[Pastor; 1 Pet 2:1-3]

The question becomes, What do we do with His flesh?
Jesus said, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.”     [Jn 6:53]

“Some folk can't do any thing with His flesh, because, all they have been receiving His words (and not the effectual quickening Spirit that accompanies them) ...no Spirit, no Life. [Pastor; Jn 6:63]

When The Spirit/Comforter/parakletos is come, He will guide you into all truth ...from “milk to meat.”

Therefore, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow up thereby ...and, don't forget first the milk and then the meat.

My Grace and Truth Family,

Oh, my sisters and brothers, I believe beyond peradventure that you too have a 'stirring' on the inside to grow and come to maturity in the understanding of our "face to face" position with our Father God-all because of Lord Jesus. How wonderful is Holy Ghost who has given us a new mind about how we can converse with Abba and let our requests be made known to HIM with sobriety and boldness!  How complete is the work of Holy Ghost to take us on to believing that we are heard!  How establishing is the work of our Lord to strengthen us in hope while waiting on Him to perform the very "words"  (spoken to us) which we re-speak to our Father when we pray.  What a Savior we have in Jesus!!

Hallelujah!

O Taste And See

In the series “Born to be Eaten,” we are re-discovering that man was made to live by the Tree of Life ...to taste of the heavenly gift of the Holy Ghost; and (have a) taste (for) the good Word of God.
[Hebrews 6:4-5]

As Israel was humbled, and suffered to hunger, in the wilderness, then fed with manna; Jehovah was making it known (and apparent to them) that “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
[Deu 8:3; Matt 4:4]

Created to be co-dependent, not independent of The Creator; Who came into the world (He created) saying to His creation: “Without Me, ye can do nothing.”
[Pastor; John 15:15c]

In The Word (the Tree) was Life; and The Life was the light (or outshining glory) of men.
[John 1:4; Pastor]

“O taste and see that the (Word of the) Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.”
[Psalm 34:8]

AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH
THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET
AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH
