“...to them gave He power to
become the sons of God.”
To be “received” (or eaten) is the
reason for which Jesus came.
[John
1:10-12; Pastor]
The shepherds (of Israel), who
returned (to their sheepfolds) glorifying and praising God for all the things
they had heard and seen (in Bethlehem), were the perfect example of the
response of “true worship.”
[Lk 2:20, 8-19; Pastor]
Elizabeth (John the Baptist's
mother) told Mary (the mother of Jesus), “Blessed is she that believed: for
there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the
Lord.” And Mary said, “My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath
rejoiced in God my Saviour ...for He that is mighty hath done great things; and
holy is His name.”
[Lk 1:45-47, 49]
Praise is our theology, and the content of our
praise is what we know of, and expect from, the Lord; of His covenant.
[Pastor; Lk 1:68, 72]
As we keep Him in remembrance,
God/the Lord keeps us in remembrance “now,” to perform all of His covenant unto
us “now.” [Pastor]
