Faux Faith, Uncovered

Jesus said, concerning the end of the world; “There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, (showing) great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,  they shall deceive the very elect.”

[Matthew 24:24]

Like the “seed” sown on stony ground, the “word of faith” demands a (trial)/test of authenticity. “The word of the Lord is tried;” to prove it's effectual working in the ground to which it has been sent. Remember, faith works by Love.

True faith,(like true love), bears up under pressure (ie affliction); is ready to believe the best of every person, hopes all things ...endures all things (ie persecution);   but, most importantly, “Love (like true faith) never fails.”   [1 Corinthians 13:7-8]

In the wilderness, Jesus, The Word, that was made flesh, was tried/(tested) repeatedly; being asked, “If thou be the Son of God...” prove it ...and, at Calvary: “If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

But HE WOULD NOT COME DOWN FROM THE CROSS, JUST TO SAVE HIMSELF; HE DECIDED TO DIE JUST TO SAVE US!

SO KEEP THE FAITH, AND NEVER CEASE TO PRAY,

AND WALK UPRIGHT, IN THIS NEW WAY OF LIFE;

HE'LL BE THERE, HE'LL BE THERE,

FOR GOD (aka LOVE) NEVER FAILS!

For The Record

Trials serve “to purge out our murky image of God; that we might see (and know) Him as He is.”

After his trial, Job confessed: “I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear; but my (spiritual) eyes seeth Thee. Therefore I loathe/hate/regret (my words) and abhor (despise) myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”                                 [Job 42:5-6, kjv/amp]

The Apostle Paul gives us to know that “These things (trials, in our lives) happened for an example (and object lesson, to us); and ...are written (for the record) for our learning; upon whom the ends of the world are come.”

[1 Corinthinians 10:11]

Another witness, the prophet Hosea, told Israel: “The Lord has torn/wounded (us) so that He may heal us. (And) after two days He will revive us again ...that we may live before Him.”

[Hos 6:1-2; Isa 26:19-20; Eze 37:1-13]

And Hosea concludes: “Let us become acquainted with (our) God, and go on to know and cherish Him.”

[Hos 6:3]

Remember, “No faith, no trials.” Through Trials the Lord is saying, “I'm going to show you that you need (My) help (My deliverance).”

My Grace and Truth family,

For your strengthening: It's not you alone living now; it's Christ in you.  Your life is hidden in His.  You are in Him and He is in you--no longer two but One.  The Holy Ghost reminds you daily! It pleased God our Father to choose you and to use you.  You are HIS testimony of how much HE loves His child, His new creation.  No, you are never alone!

My GTFI family,

The HOLY SPIRIT is opening our eyes to "see another depth" in the relationship between the church and the Lord Jesus. During recent ministries by HIM, we have been "called" into a "yes and amen" response mode.  You can hear HIM waiting for us to yield to HIM; just HEAR HIM again as HE speaks from "Our Need, His Name" and "Unanswered Prayer--Answered." Our Father God initiated the relationship and the call. And remember that the ONE who calls us will also deliver us to HIMSELF. What a relationship!  What a fellowship!

 

These are the words that our Lord spoke (prayed) to our Father concerning us:  "And this is life eternal, that they (we--the church) might know (have such an intimate relationship) Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, WHOM THOU HAS SENT."  Hallelujah!

Our Need, His Name

We could not move on with this journal without acknowledging the rhema (divine utterance) that came out of the word preached; on a recent Lord's Day; concerning “Our Need, His Name.”

The 'light,' of revelation, came on, in my mind, when I heard we were made to “hunger” and “thirst,” to be filled with His righteousness; and, we were created “naked,” to be clothed with His glory; to demonstrate our bankrupt/inadequate/incompleteness without Christ ...saying: I NEED YOU, LORD, I NEED YOU; EVERY HOUR I NEED YOU!

[Matthew 5:6; John 6:35; Genesis 2:25; 3:21]

Thus, the connection is made to the Lord's supper; where Jesus said, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you ...for My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.” 

[John 6:53, 55]

“I AM the Living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Selah.

[John 6:51]

“For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” Amen! [Romans 10:13]

WITHOUT HIM, I COULD DO NOTHING

My GTFI Family,

When we  "hear" the Lord, the Holy Ghost is at work to "make the Word stick".  Take no confidence in your "flesh" to bring anything to past nor make anything happen.  We live by FAITH, and FAITH comes by "hearing".  Ask ABBA Father to "give" ears to "hear".  And how can we "hear" without the preaching sent by HIM through a vessel?  Gather in the assembly of the saints of God to "hear"--HE "gives" the grace.

BE ENCOURAGED TO TRUST OUR FAITHFUL GOD!  Our LORD JESUS did all necessary and required for "hearing" to "work".  HEAR YE HIM.

Made This Way

Did it ever occur to you that man(kind); even all creation, was made/created “to need” (to be co-dependent)?

[Pastor; cf 1 Cor 4:11 re.3-kinds of “need”]

Knowing “Our Need,” our Creator fufills “His Name” (Jehovah Jireh), with His creation; declaring that “Without Me ye can do nothing.”

[John 15:5]

In the beginning God provided to man(kind) “every tree ...good for food;” and “a river ...to water the garden.” Adam and Eve “were both naked,” “and the Lord God ...clothed them.”

[Genesis 2:25; 3:21]

So, what's the lesson?

Jesus taught: “Therefore take no thought , saying, What shall we eat? Or ...drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? ...For your heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of all these things.”

[Matthew 6:31-32]

Note: “The Father's plan was to clothe us with His glory.”
