Jenelsie's Corner (8/28/16)

Dear GTFI Family,

It seems preposterous that Father would teach us how HE gives (our inheritance) and how we receive it from Him. But He has already declared that after sin entered man, he did not learn HIS ways but determined in his own mind how God was and how he would respond to God. What high and lofty thinking developed as a result of sin!

By the love and mercy of God our Father, we have been forgiven and the "old" man with his vain thinking and darkened understanding has been put to death. New life through Lord Jesus Christ has made us "fit" to now "learn" HIM and HIS ways. For we were made ready with a new heart and a new spirit--HIS SPIRIT.

Now when we pray, "Our Father...hallowed is Thy Name...give us this day...", we will speak out from light which has shined into our darkness. Yes, we will know how HE gives and how we receive. Our Lord says knowing HIM is eternal life!

Hallelujah!

Your sister in Christ,
Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

Take "It" In "Steps": Part 2

“It,” being the “Promises” of God, is settled IN the Lord (“and IN Him they are Yea, and Amen!”).
[Pastor; 2 Corinthians 1:19]

Because “It” is settled IN the Lord, and the “Promises” are received in “steps;” The “steps” of a good man are ordered by the Lord.”
[Pastor; Psalm 37:23]

For example, The”steps” of Abraham; the father of our Faith,”were ordered by the Lord; when He commanded (Abraham): “Arise walk through the (promised) land...I will give unto thee.” And (Abraham) removed his tent (“step” one)...and dwelt in Hebron, and he built ...an altar unto the Lord (“step” two).
[Romans 4:12;Genesis 13:17-18]

Abraham's faith was perfected by Christ, “the author and finisher of our faith.” And we are admonished to receive the same mind and “follow (in) His steps.”
[Hebrew 12:2; Philippians 2:5; 1 Peter 2:21]

ThenSingsMySoul:

ORDER MY STEPS IN YOUR WORD, DEAR LORD
LEAD ME AND GUIDE ME EVERYDAY
SEND YOUR ANOINTING, FATHER, I PRAY

ORDER MY STEPS IN YOUR WORD.

Jenelsie's Corner (8/21/16)

My GTFI Family,

My sisters and brothers, our Father is teaching us, by the Holy Ghost, that HE is the present help to us, His children. We are learning "utter dependence" upon Him as we take steps upon unfamiliar ground and new territory to the end of "walking in victory" and occupying the land. Now that HE has us positioned (joined to our Lord Jesus) and equipped (full of the Holy Ghost), our attention is given to HIM to "learn" HIM and HIS WAY!

We can trust our Father God; HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!! Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

Take "It" In "Steps"

That our understanding would be undergirded in the reality of how life (IN Christ) is to be lived as a believer, in this earth. [Pastor]

To receive (what the Lord has promised) is not to be passive, but to aggressively, intentionally, purposely take (or grasp) it, to lay hold to it, and pull it to yourself; to embrace it, and become one with it; by saying Amen! to Him. [Pastor]

In the “responding” is the “receiving.”
[Pastor]

A significant “step” in “responding” to God is to “Submit yourself to the Lord (as His mankind), and learn His Way” [Romans 10:3; Hebrews 5:8; Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

HUMBLE YOURSELF IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD,
AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP!
AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP!
[Phillipians 2:8; James 4:10]

HE IS THE VINE AND WE ARE THE BRANCHES;
AND WE WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT,
AND WE WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT.

[John 15:15]

Unpacking "Believe": The Comma

In review, Father is (NOW) doing IN us, by the Holy Spirit, the work of believing Him; or “the Faith of God.”
[Pastor]

And Abraham, the father of our Faith, who's Faith was worked out (naked/and transparent) before the face of God, responded to His Voice in worship; by building altars, between Bethel and Hebron, and beyond; and calling on His Name.
[Romans 4:12; Pastor; Genesis 12:7-8; 13:3-4; 18]

We have come to discover that “Believe” is the “Amen,” that must be declared out of our mouths to release the Promises of God; that are ours to receive, by asking. [Pastor; John 16:24]

To paraphrase Jesus, He said: “Except ye be converted (saved), and become as little children (with unfeigned Faith), ye shall not enter into the kingdom of God.” And, you shall not “Believe” except you are converted.
[Matthew 1:3; Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD
AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS;
AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU,
HAL LE LU, HAL LE LUU JAH!

[Matthew 6:33]
