Choose Ye This Day

From the garden of Eden to the cross of Calvary, and beyond; man has been given a choice ...”to not eat,” and live; or “to believe,” and not perish.
[Gen 2:16-17; Jn 3:16; Isa 53:5-6]

The Lord, Jehovah, said: “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life...”
[Deu 30:19b]

Part of the “high calling of God” is to be huMan! the earthly image and likeness of the Son of man.
[Pastor; Phil 3:13-14; Gen 1:26]

God sent His Word into the earth, to become a man(flesh); that, through His beloved Son (the Word), the Lord might redeem and bring many sons to “glory;” that we might be called the son's of God.
[Jn 1:14; Heb 2:19; 1 Jn 3:1-2]

The “glory” of God is man's participation; or his divinely ordained ability to choose.
[Pastor; Phil 2:13]

ThenSingsMySoul:

CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE,
WILL IT BE GOD OR MAN?
WELL NOW THE CHOICE IS YOURS;
BUT YOU MUST CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE,
WITHOUT A MOMENT TO LOOSE
YOU MUST CHOOSE.

"Beloved," A Dialogue

Herein is Love, not that we loved God, but that He; who is Love, loved us, and sent His (only begotten) Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins ...saying: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
[1 John 4:10/amp; 8; John 3:16; Matt 3:17]

We are learning, the more, that Love hath chosen us IN Christ before the foundation of the world, that (thru  Christ's  atonement) we should be holy and without blame before our Abba; IN His love.
[Eph 1:4]

And I love this part: “Abba has blessed us with all spiritual blessings ...IN Christ ...having predestinated (planning all along, in love) to adopt us as His own children, through Jesus Christ to Himself; because it pleased Him, and was His kind intent.” Wow! HE really LOVES US!
[Eph 1:5]

King Solomon, in his wisdom, foreshadowed the effectual working of this Love; before Christ, when he prophesied:
I AM MY BELOVED'S, AND HE IS MINE; HIS BANNER OVER ME IS LOVE! [Song of Solomon 6:3a; 2:4b]

ThenSingsMySoul:

OH HOW HE LOVES YOU AND ME!
OH HOW HE LOVES YOU AND ME!
HE GAVE HIS LIFE, WHAT MORE COULD HE GIVE?
OH HOW HE LOVES YOU, OH HOW HE LOVES ME;
OH HOW HE LOVES YOU AND ME!

Jenelsie's Corner (#311)

My sisters and brothers,
It is with great expectation when I gather with you, at the appointed time, to hear what our Father God will say and to experience His Presence.  I am truly discovering that in His Presence is the fullness of joy.  His Word is literally my "breath of life" for the time we are all before Him and for the days to come.  Whenever I leave the fellowship with each of you and with our Lord, my body is refreshed and mind renewed; I am strengthened in my inner 'wo-man.'

What a beautiful song to sing to our Lord:  "I am Your Beloved and You are mine; Your banner over me is Love."

Hallelujah!

Reflections On The Glory Of God

Q. What did Jesus come to give us, that is equivalent, in effect, to bringing us into “the glory of God?” [Pastor]
Ans. “Eternal Life,” that we might know the only true God.
[John 3:16, 17:3]

Being able to distinguish the roles of the two Adam's (first, and Last) with regard to “the glory” of God, will enhance our apreciation of what the Lord has done.
[Pastor; Rom 3:23; Heb 2;10; 1 Cor 15:45]

“The glory” of the Lord impacts our lives directly. As we walk with Him, daily, we are changed “into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of God.”
[Pastor; 2 Cor 3:18]

The 'nature' of man's participation in “the glory” is to say “Amen!”  Make this your response.
[Pastor; 2 Pet 1:4; 2 Cor 1:20]

ThenSingsMySoul:

SHINE, JESUS SHINE,
FILL THIS LAND WITH THE FATHER'S GLORY.
BLAZE, SPIRIT, BLAZE, SET OUR HEARTS ON FIRE!
FLOW, RIVER, FLOW,
FLOOD THE NATIONS WITH GRACE AND MERCY.
SEND FORTH YOUR WORD, LORD, AND LET THERE BE LIGHT!

That They May Behold My Glory

But we all are being changed, into the ...image of Christ; from glory unto glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
[2 Cor 3:18]

Although all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Abba's purpose, IN Christ, is to bring many son's to glory/honor/brilliance (aka, outshining light).
[Rom 3:23-24; Heb 2:10; Pastor]

When Jesus prayed to our Father that we would have access to (be with) Him where ever He is; this speaks of God's divine intent that we would be “joined” to (ie. one with) Christ's glory. [Jn 17:24, 21; Pastor]

Put another way, in His divine foreknowledge, Abba has given unto us such exceeding great and precious promises, IN Christ: that by these we might be made partakers of  the divine nature, having escaped the corruption of sin that is in the world.
[2 Pet 1:4]

So, although now we see Christ “through a glass darkly;” when He appears, our communion with Him will be “face to face.” [1 Cor 13:12]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I NEED YOUR GLORY,
I WANT YOUR GLORY!
LESS OF ME AND MORE OF YOU
IS WHAT I NEED!

Jenelsie's Corner (#310)

My dear Sisters and Brothers,

Shalom, shalom, friends!  Our Lord calls us His friends and gives us His peace.  What a "friend" we have in Jesus! HE gives peace in the "midst of"--what a mighty God because we experience  'soooo' many tumultuous situations.  Whirlwinds and hurricanes come 'at' us day in and out.  But our God--the ONE Who gives victory and causes us to triumph-- manifests Himself as the "true" Friend who sticks closer than a brother throughout the very time we're going through.  HE has made covenant to succor us--no matter what!

Hallelujah!

Love you all,

[Rev 3:2, Bob Dylan]

Jenelsie's Corner (#309)

My Grace and Truth Family,
My dear brothers and sisters, have we counted it joy, yes, given HIM praise and thanksgiving in the very midst of our situation?  While we are blessing HIM with our praise, HE is blessing us.  So what is HE doing?  HE is conforming us to the image of His dear Son--the Lord Jesus, our Father's first-born among many.

So we've been crying out, "Draw me closer, Lord!...make me like Jesus...I want to please You." (Light bulb!!)  "For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed..."  HE gives us HIS WORD to wash and transform our mind as we walk through our temptations and situations to the end that we might say, '...nevertheless not my will, Lord, but Yours'.  We are in the 'conformation process'.  And Lord Jesus knew that His FATHER always heard Him; whatever HE asked of FATHER was provided and done.  What an image; the Holy Ghost is at work!  Take comfort!  We are being conformed!

Rejoice and count it all joy!  Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,
