Be Not Entangled

The posture of the “church” regarding the affairs of this world is to avoid the influence of the leaven, or the world's spin; and declare the paradigm/mindset/understanding out of the kingdom in the midst; that our minds would not be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.              [Pastor; 2 Tim 2:4; 2 Cor 11:3]

What the enemy/adversary/the Devil meant for evil (in the Travon Martin, George Zimmerman tragedy), God meant for repentance/reconciliation, and restoration; for the community/state, and the nation.

One life has been lost, and another life has been unalterably marred from the shedding of blood; and the world is busy taking sides, based on insufficient evidence and inflamed emotions.

But God has given the “church” (the body of Chist) the ministry (even the Word) of reconciliation; and commanded all men every where to repent; “for all have sinned.” And, the call of God, to those of us who are spiritual, is to restore the soul overtaken in a fault; with love. “For love shall cover the multitude of sins.”
[2 Cor 5:19; Acts 17:30; Rom 3:23; Gal 6:1; 1 Pet 4:8]

Jenelsie's Corner (#308)

My Grace and Truth Family,

Our Lord God cannot lie!  HE is not a man that HE should.  HE is truth and all that HE does originates from "truth" which is in "Himself."  What a "mind-shift"!

So when we call on our "faithful" Lord, HE comes to us in truth, by truth and through truth.  There is no other way for HIM to reveal HIMSELF.

Take comfort then in our "faithful" God.  HE shall supply all of our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus--that is the TRUTH!  All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose--that's the TRUTH.  No weapon formed against us, His beloved, shall prosper--this is TRUTH.

Now whatsoever things are TRUE, think on these things.  Our Father God is FAITHFUL to perform HIS WORD--TRUTH.

Hallelujah!  Receive encouragement by His Spirit of TRUTH.

Righteousness=Relationship=Covenant

“I” am His workmanship, “i” have been fired!” [Pastor]

 For the Lord Himself will perfect that which concerns His covenant promise to us; saying “Yea, I have spoken it [John 3:16], I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it [Johnn 3:17], I will also do it.” For we are saved by grace, through His faithfulness; and not of works, lest we should boast of our own efforts.
[Psalms 138:8; Isaiah 46:11b; Ephesians 2:10]

Righteousness is the same as relationship; and we have been joined, by covenant, to the finished work of Christ.” [Pastor]
HE IS ALL MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, I STAND COMPLETE IN HIM; AND I WORSHIP HIM!

Like father Abraham, Jesus, too, believed (trusted) in Abba's faithfulness to judge righteously; and not suffer His flesh to see corruption, in the grave. In like manner, we should walk in the same steps, of the faith of Abraham, and  believe the gospel of Christ; for therein is the righteousness of God revealed.
[Matt 1:1; 1 Pet 2:23-24; Acts 2:31-33; Rom 4:12;1:16-17]

“And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life: and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
[1 John 5:11-12]

Jenelsie's Corner (#307)

My Grace and Truth family,

Don't you know that the experiences that we are walking through in this very day are for the "trial of our faith".  Here's the question then--"Do I have faith in His Faithfulness to perform His own Word?"

My brothers and sisters, our LORD is pricking hearts, and our response has been to "kick against the pricks."  The Holy Ghost is weakening us to the point where there is no more 'kick' in us, and as we receive HIS WORD we are being led to the 'slaughter'--the death of 'self'.  By Holy Ghost we can repent and receive newness of 'life' today for the very same experiences.

Hallelujah!!  Let us rejoice and be glad that HE has spoken and that we can hear.

Faith In HIS Faithfulness

“God, without man's help, fulfilled His faithfulness, on our behalf, all by Himself .”  [Pastor]

As the Son can do nothing of Himself but what the Father does, so our life is hid IN Christ, IN God; and the life we now live we live by the faith of the Son of God; who loved us, and gave His life for us.                                             [John 5:19; Colossians 3:3; Galations 2:20]

So, as the Son lived by the faithfulness of the Father, we too must, and can only, live by HIS faithfulness; whether we believe or not. [John 6:57; 2 Timothy 2:13]

“Every trial we experience is bringing us to the conclusion that man should not depend on himself for anything; but in the Lord's faithfulness in everything.” [Pastor]

 Since every word is established at the mouth of two or three witnesses; consider the summations of the apostle Paul, and the prophet Habakkuk, in a word:                   “The just shall live by (his) faith;” and, in actuality, HIS faithfulness. [2 Cor 13:1; Romans 1:17; Habakkuk 2:4] Amen!

ThenSingsMySoul:

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS,
O LORD, MY SAVIOUR;
MORNING BY MORNING NEW MERCIES I SEE.
ALL I HAVE NEEDED THY HAND HATH PROVIDED;
GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS, LORD, UNTO ME!

Jenelsie's Corner (#306)

My Grace and Truth family,

After hearing and rehearing what our Lord has spoken to us in this current series about having "Faith in HIS FAITHFULNESS", I began to ponder.  The Lord brought several 'issues' before me, and I asked, "Lord, am I really relying upon Your faithfulness in this matter?"  Again  I asked, "Papa, am I looking unto You, the faithful One, or am I looking to another?"  Even with another my response to His question was a 'negative' because HE uncovered where I have not counted Him faithful.

Yet our merciful Father has not left us without hope and gives space to repent.  Then HE gives strength to the weak and faint to wait on HIM to perform HIS WORD--HIS FAITHFULNESS is sure! HE has proven it 'issue' after 'issue'.

Hallelujah!!!

The "Cover Up," Uncovered

You might ask “What is being un-covered?”
And the answer is “unrighteousness,” aka self-righteousness, masquerading as “faith;” but it is “false.”
Our former pastor would often use the expression “Let's take off our masks (or, facade of false pretence).”
[Pastor; Rom 1:18]

Our (own) faith is “false,” in the sense that we deceive ourselves by it ...having confidence in our (own) 'believing,' rather than having confidence in Him.
[Pastor; Phil 3:3]

“Unrighteousness,” or self-righteousness (aka, living by what we do) is “of the law;” like 'legal righteousness.' While “that which is through the 'faith' of Christ (aka, living by what He does IN/thru us) is the righteousness which is of God ...” [Pastor; Phil 3:9]

It is written: “Except the Lord build the house (or build us up in our 'most holy faith'), (our) labour (or, our do-it-yourself efforts would be) in vain ...” [Psalms 127:1]

The administration of “faith” in our lives contributes to the working out of our spiritual maturity, that we may grow up (or, be complete) IN Him, needing nothing added.
[Pastor; Jas 1:4]
