The House Of Jacob???

Part of the Word of the Lord, to the virgin Mary [Matthew 1:23], concerning the destiny of the Son of God [Luke 1:35], that she would bear, was: “He shall reign over 'the house of Jacob' for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.”

[Luke 1:33]

And, if we are sons of God [1 John 3:2], we too are joint heirs with Christ [Romans 8:16-17]; and fellow heirs of the commonwealth of Israel [Eph 2:11-13]; who would come from the east, and ...west, and ...north, and ...south, and ...sit down in the kingdom of God [Lk 13:29]...and reign with Christ. [2 Tim 2:11-12]

 In the parable of the kingdom, Jesus likened 'the house of Jacob' to “a net that was cast into the sea   (of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation), and gathered of every kind: which when it was full, they drew to shore ...and gathered the good into vessels.”

[Matthew 13:48; Rev 5:9]

 And so it is for every descendant of Abraham, and heir to the promised “blessing;” sought and apprehended by Jacob.

My Grace and Truth Family,

"Emanuel...God is with us"!  Selah.  HE thought it not robbery to come to us and be one of us, so HE sent us HIS SON-our SAVIOR, JESUS.  JESUS came as HIS express image, the brightness of HIS glory in man.

Emanuel is with HIS creation, new man, joined to HIM by Christ Jesus, the Messiah!  In Jesus, His first begotten, man is no longer alienated from the Lord God--no longer a stranger.  For the new man in Christ Jesus, nothing shall be able to separate him from the love of GOD.  HE has come to make HIS abode in man, the new man hidden in Christ Jesus.  "Emanuel...God is with us"!

Emanuel came to bless us--HIS beloved in Christ Jesus.  HE has forgiven us and will withhold no good thing from us.  HE knows and reveals the good plans that HE has now that HE is with us.  "Emanuel...God is with us"!  Selah.  And we say, AMEN--it is so!!

The "Blessing" Of Jacob

The first night of Jacob's sojourn, to escape the wrath of his brother Essau; after usurping Essau's blessing, the Lord spoke to Jacob (from above a ladder reaching from earth to heaven) and said: “I AM the Lord God of Abraham ...and Isaac ...the ground you are lying on is yours ...and your descendants (that) shall cover the land from east to west and from north to south; and in thee and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. What's more, I AM with you, and will keep you ...and ...bring you back to this land ...until I have finished giving you all I AM promising.”

[Genesis 28:12-15]

  From that day onward, Jacob sought that “blessing” until he was changed/broken/halted/converted from the man that he was into the man of God's chosing; after wrestling with a man (of God?) all night long.

[Genesis 32:24-28]

note. Jacob had to be broken/halted from his own striving, before he could receive the “blessing.”

Jenelsie's Corner (#355)

My dear GTFI family,

There is one thing that I am fully persuaded about:  only the Word of His power can strengthen-even cause-us to walk in the "I will" which has been spoken by Father God.  No, we are not able to do it by our own power and might (works) but by the supernatural working of the Holy Ghost in or upon us. Yielding or submitting to the "oneness" with our Lord Jesus is how the "I will walk" is accomplished in the body of flesh.  Lord Jesus has satisfied our Father for man's walk as a victorious son (daughter) in the earth, so we "eat, receive, live by, live out from" the finished work of the first begotten son. What a Savior we have!  We don't have to "try" to figure out how to walk; our saving grace is our Lord.

When we leave the presence of the Lord this day, know that HE gave us His strength to walk  in the "I will" spoken by our Father God in covenant with us!!  Hallelujah!!

My Grace and Truth Family,

Let me put you in remembrance that our Lord speaks to us out from the paradigm of the Kingdom of God and not from the kingdoms of this world.  The world's kingdoms are of darkness--wisdom from beneath with lies and deceits.  The Kingdom of God, inherited by the Son (the kingdom of His dear Son), has now been given to us--the redeemed, the joined to Jesus Christ--by His own pleasure.  And His Kingdom, now ours, is full of truth and wisdom from above:" first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated..."

We are being taught by the Holy Ghost how to live out from this paradigm which is sooooooo... new to us in this "born again" state. The milk and meat that HE provides feed the "new creature", our  "inner man". Our growth is dependent upon our diet.

Wednesday nights are a special feast for us at Grace and Truth, and the full course meal is free.  We are eating from His paradigm  There is a place setting for you at the next spread!  Come, let's dine together.
