Jenelsie's Corner (3.26.17)

My GTFI Family,

During our trip and ministry to the church in Fort Pierce, the work of the Holy Ghost was manifested in this: our endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We submitted ourselves to the "oneness" which is in the body of Christ by "one Spirit!" We are in Christ Jesus--purposed in HIM by God our Father. Then it is with grateful hearts that we stand before Him in worship to proclaim His reign over us and in us. GREAT IS OUR GOD AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED!

Hallelujah!!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

How God Is: His Praise, Part 3

Because our Father/God inhabits the “Praises” of (His) Israel [Psalms 22:3], He has ordained that: “True  Praise is a worthy sacrifice; that really honors (Him). (And) those who walk (Father's) paths will receive salvation from The Lord”
[Psalms 50:23/tlb]

Praise is the sacrifice of thanksgiving; the confession of Who He is ...the fruit of our lips; created by God, declaring the glory that is due to His Name.
[Pastor; Isaiah 57:19]

We can't Praise Father/God except it be “in Spirit, and in truth:” For the Father seeketh such to worship Him.”
[John 4:23]

Praise is a mighty (spiritual) sledgehammer, that God forges IN us, to smash through (aka pull down) strongholds (or every obstacle to faith); and casts down every false doctrine (or imagination) that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.
[II Corinthians 10:4]

ThenSingsMySoul:

FOR YOU INHABIT THE PRAISES OF YOUR PEOPLE
SO, LET OUR PRAYERS BE AS SWEET INCENSE UNTO YOU;
AND LET THE LIFTING OF OUR HANDS
BE AS THE EVENING SACRIFICE;
LORD, WE LOVE YOU,
O, LORD, WE LOVE YOU,
YES WE DO!

How God Is: His Worship

“Man's work equals worship!”
[Pastor]

It is written, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do it all in The Name of The Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and The Father by Him.” [Colossians 3:17]

When man was placed in the garden of Eden, he was commanded to “dress (work/till) it, and to keep it;” meant to be an act of service, as unto The Lord ...just as the Firstfruit offerings, of the priests, were to be a sacrificial thank offering, unto The Lord, as well. [Pastor; Genesis 2:8; 15; Leviticus 23:10-11]

As for you, “I beseech you ...brethren ...that you present your bodies a living sacrifice ...unto God, which is your reasonable service (of worship).”     Enter into His  gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with (His) praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His Name.
[Romans 12:1; Psalms 100:4]

After you have fought a good fight, and finished your course, your reward (or wages) will be sure (certain).
[2 Timothy 4:7-8; Proverbs 11:18]

ThenSingsMySoul:

WITH MY HANDS LIFTED UP (in worship)
AND MY MOUTH FILLED WITH PRAISE;

WITH A HEART OF THANKSGIVING

How God Is: His Praise, Part 2

Strength is important, but it only serves to fuel our endurance to the “end” (goal) of (our) faith; even the “salvation” of (our) souls.
[Pastor; 1 Peter 1:9]

The “covenant” is not to get us out of the wilderness (of sin)...but, the “covenant” is to get us into the land (Christ) (promised), (until Christ be formed in us) ...Not out of darkness, But into His marvellous light.
[Pastor; Galations 4:19; 1 Peter 2:9]

 Because the obedience of faith is “a warfare,” he that endureth to “the end,” the same shall be saved.” Job said, “All of my appointed time I will wait, til my change come.” And: PRAISE IS WHAT WE DO, EVEN WHEN WE'RE GOING THROUGH!
[Pastor; Matthew 10:22; Job 14:14]

For this cause, we were chosen to be a royal priesthood, a peculiar people; that (we) should (show) forth (His) (excellent) (Praise) …
[1 Peter 2:9b]

ThenSingsMySoul:

BEHOLD GOD IS MY SALVATION,
I WILL TRUST, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.
BEHOLD GOD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG;

AND HE HAS BECOME MY LORD!
