Jenelsie's Corner (#297)

My Grace and Truth family,

I was overwhelmed with the love our Father poured out to me through you last Sunday. Although I had cried out to Him concerning the frailty of my body, HE answered in a way above that which I even thought.

Just on Saturday I was so weak with numerous discomforts.  Pastor ministered to me continually throughout the day.  On Sunday morning my soul longed for the presence of our God, and all I wanted to do was worship HIM in the gathering of HIS people—and it was so.  HE manifested HIMSELF as the prayer of faith was uttered by one sister while HIS hands were laid on me through others.  Our “all-knowing” Father God spoke directly and specifically to this body where HIS SPIRIT resides, giving it release from those things which had held it captive for a season.  HIS “hands” actually “touched” the very places that were affected and painful.  Then HE “iced the cake” when HE whispered in my ear from the mouth of another sister, “I AM your present help!”  What peace HE gave my mind.  (Selah).

I walk in His grace still today.  HIS strength was perfect in my weakness.  The reality of HIS PRESENCE in and through HIS BODY was an awesome expression of HIS power and love.  HE IS WONDERFUL111

Love,
Sister Jenelsie, Pastor’s wife

Be Still And Know

As the Word, “Why Won't God “Just Do It?” draws closer to a 'comma;' one thought keeps resonating in my mind: 'He has (done “it”), and He will (do “it”).'

The word's, “I HAVE spoken “it,” I WILL also bring “it” to pass;” and “...I WILL visit (dwell IN) you, and perform (having sent) My good Word toward you, in 'causing' you to return to (believe in/rest in) Me (-implied).”
[Isa 46:11; Jer 29:11; Pastor; Eze 36:27-emphasis mine]

Faith is the inescapable, absolutely necessary, response (or Amen!) to being a partaker of His 'doing.' It is written, “Believe you receive, and you shall HAVE whatsoever things you desire.”
[2 Pet 1:4; Eph 2:12-13]

Lord, “Be “it” unto me, according to Thy Word.”
[Lk 1:38]

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest.
[Heb 4:11]
                                                                                                                ThenSingsMySoul:

REST IN ME, I AM THE LOVER OF YOUR SOUL.
REST IN ME, I HAVE EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL.
I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA,
THE BEGINNING AND THE END ...
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BE STILL, AND REST IN ME!

Jenelsie's Corner (#296)

My Grace and Truth family,

I was thanking the Lord for this series of “teaching”, “Words” and here is what the Holy Ghost brought to my mind:  2 Peter 2:8.  Our God has given us (the Body of Christ) all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue.  We are given exceeding great and precious promises that by these we might be partakers of His divine nature.  Now then, the Holy Ghost says to us by Peter that if “these things”—the ‘teaching’ and/or ‘Words’ are in us, and abound, they make us that we shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Give us the grace to believe, Lord, and “be unto us according to your Word”.

Amen and hallelujah!

Your sister,
Jenelsie Howell, Pastor’s wife

Why Won't God "Just Do It?" Con'd...

Because the just shall live by faith, in the Word (of promise) made flesh/realized/fulfilled/”done.”
[Pastor; Heb 2:4]

Case in point: Jesus told His disciples,                                                                                “All things are delivered unto Me of My Father.”...and, the Apostle Paul concluded: “if (God) spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not WITH HIM also freely GIVE US ALL THINGS?” ...and “All things are yours."
[Matt 11:27; Rom 8:32; 1 Cor 3:21-22]

note. God won't just do “it,” because HE'S DONE “IT” ALREADY; by, and through, faith in His promise(s). “It” is finished! Done! “Before the foundation of the world;” because “All the promises of God are in (Christ) Yea, and in (Christ) Amen/DONE/finished.”                                                    [Pastor; John 19:30; 1 Pet 1:18-20; 2 Cor 1:20]

If God said “it,” He will also bring “”it” to pass ...and “do” what He said He will “do.”
[Isa 46:11; Pastor]

As to When will God do “it?” Can you say, “In a moment; in the twinkling of an eye?”

ThenSingsMySoul:

I'M HOLDING FAST TO THE PROMISE
(OF) WHAT GOD HAS SPOKEN TO ME
HE PROMISED ME IF I BELIEVE
I CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS INTO THE SEA

IT'S DONE TODAY, IT'S DONE I SAY
I BELIEVE THAT IT'S ALREADY DONE!

Jenelsie's Corner (#295)

My Grace and Truth Family,

This understanding was given to Paul: all things (whatsoever) written aforetime are for our (believers, the church) learning, that we through patience (being strengthened by the Holy Ghost) and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

What grace has been given that our eyes have been opened to see, our ears to hear, and our hearts to understand the “mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He has purposed in Himself.”  Yes, in our learning, the Holy Ghost is revealing (unfolding) this new life in the kingdom of God by our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

But how can we hear and learn unless our Father God gives us a preacher—and indeed HE has given us His preacher!

Hallelujah!  Let us worship and praise our Lord with thanksgiving.

Your sister,
Jenelsie Howell, Pastor’s wife

Why Won't God "Just Do It?"

“God won't 'abra-ca-dabra' ( or instantly gratify) you; He works by a promise (a spoken Word),” whereby faith is established (made manifest).
[Pastor; Rom 10:17]

If you can receive “it” (God's doing's), all that God has promised has been done, and “finished,” and laid in store for us, who believe, IN Christ. [John 19:30]

Our redemption has been satisfied by the shed blood of Christ; and our election (or salvation) has been sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. [Rev 5:9; Rom 9:11; Eph 1:15]

Have you received His doing's, since you believed?

The Apostle Paul observed, that “the Word,” not received, would not profit withal; if “it” is not mixed with faith IN them that hear “it” ...for “without faith it is impossible to please God.” [Heb 4:1-2; 11:6]

Do you believe? Then, with patience and hope wait on the fulfillment of the promise (of God's doing “it”) in/to/and for whosoever believes. [Rom 8:25; Isa 46:11; Jn 3:16]

The Lord/Jehovah said: “When I blow the trumpet, listen!” [Isa 18:3/TLB]

ThenSingsMySoul:

EARS TO HEAR, EARS TO HEAR,
EARS TO HEAR, EARS TO HEAR,
EARS TO HEAR, EARS TO HEAR,
WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING;
BLOW THE TRUMPET!

Jenelsie's Corner (#294)

My GTFI family,

We are a blessed fellowship of believers.  Our Father pours out His love for us!  HE takes care of us—providing, teaching, and healing.  HE gives us His WORD; HE gives us His HOPE.  HE gives us testimony after testimony of His goodness and faithfulness.  HE manifests the Life of our Lord Jesus in us and through us.  HE makes us alive to HIMSELF by His SPIRIT.  HE chastises, rebukes, destroys, plants and builds.  HE does “all things well” towards us.

Now let’s bless HIM with our honor and thanksgiving as we make boast to our GOD.

Hallelujah!

By HIS love,
Jenelsie Howell, Pastor’s wife

The Difference Between "Signs" and "Promises"

“Signs” (for unbelievers) are a token of a fact, not immediately or outwardly observable; intended to invoke repentance, for faith. [Pastor]

Because Israel would not believe, despite all the “signs” (works) shown to them, in Egyptian bondage; God swore that they would not enter into His [promised] rest.
[Numbers 14:11, 5, 7-8; Hebrews 3:9-11]

On the other hand, “promises” (for believers) are an express assurance that something will or will not be done; for “apprehending,” for participating; “that we might be partakers of (His) divine nature.” [Pastor; 2 Peter 1:4]

The just shall live, and walk, by his faith; and not by sight. If we don't see 'all things' lining up, according to what He has (promised), stop being transfixed, bewitched, or spellbound, looking at (the things); and, instead, lift up your head and your hands in worship; “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith;” and you will apprehend the “promises.”
[Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Cor 5:7; Pastor; Heb 12:2]

ThenSingsMySoul:

SHOUT TO THE LORD, ALL THE EARTH, LET US SING;
POWER AND MAJESTY, PRAISE TO (OUR) KING!
MOUNTAINS BOW DOWN AND THE SEAS WILL ROAR
AT THE SOUND OF YOUR NAME.
I SING FOR JOY AT THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS,
FOREVER I'LL LOVE YOU, FOREVER I'LL STAND.
NOTHING COMPARES TO THE PROMISE (WE) HAVE IN YOU

Jenelsie's Corner (#293)

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

Hear this again:  We approach our Father boldly with full assurance that the ministry of the Lord Jesus was completed for us who believe.  Our redemption included forgiveness, justification, regeneration, and sanctification—all taken care of by the blood of Jesus.  Moreover, we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, not by our works but by His work.  “What shall we say to these things?  If GOD be for us, who can be against us?”

Our LORD continually and repeatedly sends us HIS WORD to strengthen us to believe HIM now.  So in our coming together on Wednesday and Sunday, we pray that our ears are opened to hear HIS WORD.  The Holy Ghost is at work in us to open our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and to enlarge our understanding as we walk in the earth by faith.

Hallelujah!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie, Pastor’s wife

Who Am I?

When confronted with the call of God to tell Pharaoh to “LET MY PEOPLE GO,” Moses said, “Who am I, that I should go ...and ...bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
[Exodus 5:1; 3:11]

But “God had a mighty plan for a mighty man;” all the while declaring: “I'm gonna do this (I AM come down to deliver them ...and to bring them up out of that land), but you are (My chosen) vessel.”                                                                [Exodus 3:8; Judges 6:12; Numbers 23:19; Lyman Benefield]

Sometimes the question becomes, “How could God use me, in any significant way?” But God says: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Because “Little Is Much, If God Is In It.” And the response was, “Here am I (Lord); send me.”                 [Lyman Benefield; Isaiah 6:8]

God is glorified when we surrender our lives to Christ; and we're washed in His blood, and filled with His Spirit ...saying, “If You can use anyone, Lord, use me (to do Your will).”
[Lyman Benefield]

ThenSingsMySoul:

WHO AM I THAT THE KING WOULD BLEED AND DIE FOR?
WHO AM I THAT HE WOULD PRAY NOT MY WILL, THINE LORD?
THE ANSWER I MAY NEVER KNOW,
WHY HE EVER LOVED ME SO;
THAT TO AN OLD RUGGED CROSS HE'D GO
FOR WHO AM I?
