O My Soul-Part 2

Just as the tongue is an unruly member, so the mind (the seat of the soul), too, can run amuck; wandering into unauthorized places , (called imaginations), entertaining vain things;  like “the lusts of the flesh, and ...the eyes, and the pride of life.”
[Jas 3:8; 2 Cor 10:5; 1 Jn 2:16]
Pastor once called imaginations “image-nations,” referring to the “legion” of thoughts that encamp within the mind that create confusion. [Mk 5:9]

It has been said: “A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste.”     [UNCF slogan]
We are re-minded that The Master Planner has a Master Plan; even A Better Idea, for our thoughts. He said: “Whatsoever things are true ...honest ...just ...pure ...lovely ...of good report: if there be any virtue ...think on these things.”
[Phil 4:8]
Thanks be to God, that He gave us a tutor; even, a governor, thru Christ (the Holy Ghost); to bring to our remembrance, (and administrate obedience to), every word Jesus spoke. Because His words are Spirit, and they are life, and health to our flesh.
[Gal 4:2; Jn 14:26; 6:63; Prov 4:20-22]

King David lamented: Lord, “Cast me not away from Thy presence: and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.” [Ps 51:11]

ThenSingsMySoul:

HOLY GHOST, DON'T LEAVE ME,
HOLY GHOST, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME.
HOLY GHOST, DON'T LEAVE ME;
DOWN HERE BY MYSELF.
