For Us, As Us

In terms of “Resurrection Relevance,” For it is God which worketh ... is an ongoing dynamic being perpetually manifested unto us (by God) day-by-day.
[Pastor; 1 Cor 12:6]

When God joined Himself to us, He also joined Himself to our circumstances; or our “now” moments of weakness, infirmity, or time of trouble; to deliver us from, unto Himself. [Pastor; Ps 27:5]

God, who is “unlimited,” chose to become “limited” man; because man cannot be God, and the limitation of  man's (sin) nature was negated (nullified) when Jesus came from heaven to earth to be “as us” (to take our deserved place, of judgment) for our justification.                                   [Pastor; Phil 2:7; Rom 4:24-25]

“Limited” man was created to be joined to/united with/become “one” with/covenanted with the “unlimited” God. [Pastor; Jn 17:21]

THERE'S NO QUESTION OF YOUR GREATNESS,
NO SEARCHING OF YOUR POWER.
ALL THE WONDERS OF YOUR GLORY;
TO YOU FORTY YEARS IS BUT ONE HOUR.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE IS ALL ENCOMPASSING,
TO YOUR WISDOM THERE IS NO END;
FOR YOU ALONE ARE GOD:
YOU ARE GOD ALONE!

Because He Lives

I can face tomorrow ...because He lives all fear is gone ...because I know He holds the future; my life is worth the living just because He lives.
[Bill Gaither]

On Palm Sunday, at Assisted Living, pastor took advantage of the lyrics of this Hymn to drive home the undeniable fact of the resurrection; referring to the multitude of witnesses: like Mary, at the empty tomb, Cephas, then the twelve disciples; and after that of above five hundred brethren; then James, and all of the apostles, et al ...making the point that if Christ is not risen then our preaching is in vain; and your faith is in vain.
[Jn 20:11-18; 1 Cor 15:3-7, 12-14, 20]

But, the foremost, infallible/unerring, witness of the living Christ is the Holy Spirit; who certifies that Christ ever lives to make intercession for us; to save to the uttermost them that come unto God, the Father, by Him.
[Heb 7:25; Jn 15:26; 14:6]

Jesus said “Because I live, ye shall live also.”
[Jn 14:19b; cf Jn 10:17-18]

ThenSingsMySoul:

HAL-LE-LUJAH! YOU HAVE WON THE VICTORY!
HAL-LE-LUJAH! YOU HAVE WON IT ALL FOR ME!
DEATH COULD NOT HOLD YOU DOWN;
YOU ARE THE RISEN KING;
SEATED IN MAJESTY!
YOU ARE THE RISEN KING!!!

Jenelsie's Corner (#336)

My GTFI Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.  His name is exalted above all others, and we who know that name can call it.  His Name is holy and far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named.  The Lord God Almighty has given us a great name.  At the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.  We are saved by His Name, and through His Name we have remission of sins.  The name of our Lord is great.  We can trust in His Name.

My family and friends, we have a Name--TAKE it!

Jenelsie's Corner (#335)

My Sisters and Brothers,

The phrase "resurrection power" has become so common to our hearing whenever we approach "Resurrection Day."  We readily believe that our God raised Christ Jesus from the dead by His Spirit--the Holy Ghost.  We live by that truth; our conversation hinges upon that truth because its basic and foundational.  It's absolute and we dare not think otherwise--there was a resurrection by the power of God!

But if the Spirit of HIM that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you and me, should we live by the reality and power of this truth also? Do we believe that "resurrection power" resides in us? Should we experience the effect of HIS power just as Jesus did?  Does our conversation express our full persuasion that the same "resurrection power" lives in us?

These questions "ought not be", and our Lord is addressing, even removing, them by the working and washing  of the WORD of HIS POWER.  The WORD of HIS POWER is delivered to us each time we gather--hear (give your ear)!  The WORD of HIS POWER is uprooting the doubt and planting again with the truth.  Hear HIM today!!!

This is the day that the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad!
Love in Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie's Corner (#334)

My GTFI family,

The Holy Ghost brought back to me that the WORD of our LORD will not return to HIM void of power.  HE quickened (opened) my ears to hear HIM while my ship was going down, and I feared drowning.  When I heard HIM, I had just enough (HIS grace is always sufficient!) strength to cry out to HIM, and HE heard me to save me from drowning.  HE saved me from drowning...HE saved me from drowning...HE saved me from drowning!

Of course, you know that I was not really in a ship, but it surely "felt" like it because the situation was so grave and intense--like drowning.  And I knew that I would go down if the reality of who HE IS was not manifested to me.  I heard HIM saying, "I AM the glory and the lifter of your head!"  My crying response to HIM was,  "Then let it be so according to YOUR WORD!"  And it WAS SO!  Hallelujah!!!!!!

The Faith That "Receives"

True faith “receives”  supernaturally, after the Spirit of God is come upon you; versus imaginary faith, which is self generated; by the works of the flesh (law), which is a form of godliness, that denies the power thereof. [Acts 1:8; Gal 3:2; 2 Tim 3:5]

A faith that “receives” beyond the imagination and ability of man, hangs on to the impossible for dear life.
[Pastor]

The receiving (of faith) is for the participation with God, in the impossible, supernatural “works” of God; that the generation to come might know His wonderful works, and declare them to their children.         [Pastor; Ps 78:2-7]

ThenSingsMySoul:

I HAVE THE FAITH TO SEE THE INVISIBLE,
EXPECT THE INCREDIBLE,
RECEIVE THE IMPOSSIBLE,
...FAITH THAT CAN CONQUER ANYTHING.

Jenelsie's Corner (#333)

Dear GTFI family,

My friends, I can say of a truth that HIS Word--a voice of triumph ( HIS POWER)-- delivered to us is so relevant to our daily experiences of trials and tribulations. There is no more wondering why Holy Ghost is attuning our ears and opening our eyes so that the "dots can be connected" day in and out to HIS WORD of POWER.  As we believe the faith of our Lord Jesus, Scripture is being fulfilled again, and we can boldly declare:  "Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and make manifest the savor (fragrance) of His knowledge by us in every place.  For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them who are saved..."  HE makes the ground ready for us to receive HIM/HIS WORD/POWER/FAITH to give us victory so don't draw back.  We "have to believe"!

Hallelujah to our Lord and King!

Love in Christ Jesus,

"The Faith" That Apprehends

...That for which we have been apprehended/seized/possessed of Christ; that we might lay hold of the miraculous works of power of the Almighty God (our Father).
[Phil 3:12; Pastor; Lk 24:49; Acts 1:8]

We received “the faith” that was once delivered to the saints, on the day of Pentecost; when the Spirit of the Lord made our body's the temple of His abode.
[Jude 1:3; Acts 2:1-4; 1 Cor 6:19]

The Apostle Paul reminds us that the word of “the faith” is IN our mouth, and heart; by the Spirit of God; by the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
[Rom 10:8; 1:16]

Having been called to participate in the administration of Agape (Love), we must “know” the miracle of “the faith,” before we can “minister” the miracle of “the Faith.” Through our participation in “the faith,” God bears witness of Himself; to cause awe and wonder.
[Pastor; Jn 14:12; Rom 1:20]
