The Heartbeat Of Christianity

The answer to the question (What is the heartbeat of Christianity?) is, God is “Love” (does Himself), God is “Light” (reveals Himself), and God is “Life” (be's Himself). [Pastor; 1 John 4:8; John 1:4]

The energy that propels His (God's) “Light” and “Life” is “Love.” [Pastor; 1 Cor 13:13 'Love' is the greatest]

All that would hinder Abba/Father from being “Love” to us was dealt with over two thousand years ago.
[Pastor; John 3:16]

The Message Bible sums it up like this: “This is how God showed His Love for us: God sent His only Son into the world so we might live through Him. This is the kind of Love we are talking about ---not that we once upon a time loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God.”
[1 John 4:9-10]

Jenelsie's Corner (04/26/15)

My GTFI Family,

Let me tell you as a surety that our assembling on Wednesday evening is not just "going to church" or "going to Bible study" as I had regarded that time for so long. However, in the more recent years of salvation, the working of the Holy Ghost has given me a new and more complete understanding of the purpose of our gathering.

As testimony and encouragement, I want you to know that last Wednesday I experienced great tribulation. Early in the morning I was faced with a situation which caused me to cry out to the Lord with great moaning and tears. I was scared about what could have happened as a result of my own actions. A little while later, trouble came to me again involving a family member. The Holy Ghost gave me boldness to persevere and minister out of the Kingdom of God, but I was drained afterwards. Then just a short time later, I was confronted with another situation which was filled with words of failure and hopelessness.

My entrance into the building where GTFI meets was like a "battered ship coming in from the sea." I knew that if I was going to be "fixed up and recharged" it would be in His presence and in the company of saints with "like mindedness." Surely enough, the Lord was a strong tower for me as HE fortified me with HIS truth. The helmet of His salvation returned peace to my mind. I joined in with the other saints to magnify His Name through worthy praise and thanksgiving for not being consumed. When Pastor dismissed us, my strength was renewed!

When I laid my head on my pillow that night, I whispered "thank you" again to Papa God for His specific ministry to me--He came to me! HE knew what I needed from HIM at the time and place established for me to receive.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Love In Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie's Corner (04/19/15)

My Grace and Truth Friends,

For our edification and stirring up again, and again, consider that He has opened the eyes of our understanding so we might know the hope to which we have been called. We put you in remembrance...

Just a few weeks ago, our Father gave us our own GTFI "expression" as He taught us in a series about the reason Jesus was born. During the teaching, Holy Ghost pointed out Peter in a different light, and called him the disciple who actually "walked on the wild side." We were reminded that though Peter was just as afraid as everyone else in the boat when they saw 'someone' walking on the water towards them, the disciple answered the quandary after Jesus identified Himself: Will I trust You right now? The response that Peter gave literally launched him into an experience of "walking on the wild side."

The 'word' of His power was simply spoken to all the disciples -- "come!" As Peter received that 'one' word which carried the power for him to walk on the water, the "wild side" became a reality step by step! Jesus knew exactly what HE was saying to Peter and what His Word would accomplish in him. The Lord speaks His Word to perform it.

What a ministry of hope to us (believers, the church) now to whomever receives the WORD to 'come walk on the wild side'!!

Hallelujah!

Your sister,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

The Resurrection Culminates "The Incarnation"

In retrospect, “the incarnation” (or, God IN humanity) (aka, the word made flesh) solved the issue of His “beyond-ness,” and our “separated-ness.”
[John 1:14; Pastor]

“The incarnation,” when God entered our human realm (“as us, for us”), set the stage to take us from trying to get a “hold” of God, to God getting a “hold” of us. The succinct description of Jesus is “God IN man.”
[Isaiah 53:5; 2 Cor 5:21; Pastor]

Concerning eternal life; which was given after the resurrection, Jesus said, “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” which spake of the process of death, burial, and resurrection. The song writer penned: ...HE DECIDED TO DIE, JUST TO SAVE ME!
[John 12:24; 10:17-18]

That's why Jesus came to earth.

ThenSingsMySoul:

HOSANNA! (SAVE NOW!)
AND BLESSED BE MY ROCK,
AND LET THE GOD OF MY SALVATION

BE EXALTED!

My Grace and Truth Friends,

Just a few weeks ago, our Father gave us our own GTFI "expression" as HE taught us in a series about the reason Jesus was born. During the teaching, the Holy Ghost pointed out Peter in a different light, and called him the disciple who actually "walked on the wild side." The Question Now Is

How can “that life” (the God life), (the humanized version), that got inside of humanity, get inside of me?...the “intended” life for man, from before the beginning, to produce “the life” that Jesus manifested?
[Pastor]

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness (aka, the Godhead)...to wit that God was IN Christ (IN the flesh) reconciling the world unto Himself.
[1 Timothy 3:16; 2 Cor 5:19; John 1:14]

Mary asked the angel, Gabriel, “How shall this be? (my bringing forth a son, not knowing a man)?” and the answer was: “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee ...and that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Thus the “unlimited” God could, By His Spirit, now get inside of “limited” man.
[Luke 1:26-35; Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

HIS LIFE FOR MINE, HIS LIFE FOR MINE
HOW COULD IT EVER BE?
THAT HE WOULD DIE, GOD'S SON WOULD DIE
TO SAVE A WRETCH LIKE ME

WHAT LOVE DIVINE, HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR MINE.

Jenelsie's Corner (04/05/2015)

My Grace and Truth Family,

Jesus is alive--and He lives in me!! This truth has been seasoning meat for me as I have eaten of the "ONE" born to us as mankind. It is the work of the Holy Ghost to awaken me and shake me into another reality of HIS PRESENCE being with me and in me. And in 'this' reality I 'hear' His Word while Holy Ghost is bringing to remembrance those things spoken and taught to me so the "dots can be connected."

So proclaiming that "Jesus is alive" is not just a Christian cliche' or proverbial saying, it's the sure foundation of what you and I are really about as new creatures in Christ Jesus. "And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you (me), He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you (me)," says our brother Paul in Romans 8:11. Hallelujah!

Rejoice in the Lord today!

Our God's Not Dead

The contemporary Christian song writer goes on to say, “He's Surely Alive! He's Living On The Inside!”
[Newsboys]

As one who came to earth to give His life, a ransom for many; and to empower us to become sons and daughters of God ...I would say 'mission accomplished.'
[Mark 10:45; John 1:12]

An old, but timeless, congregational standard declares: I Love Him, I Love Him ...Because He First Loved Me, And Purchased My Salvation On Calvary.
[Anonymous/Unknown; John 3:16]

After Jesus' crucifixion, and burial; Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to the tomb, and were met by an angel who said, “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified, but He isn't here! For He has come back to life again, just as He said He would. Now, go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen”
[Matthew 28:1-7/TLB]

ThenSingsMySoul:

HE'S ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE!
HE'S ALIVE, AND I'M FORGIVEN,
HEAVEN'S GATES ARE OPENED WIDE.
HE'S ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE! HE'S ALIVE!!!
