Jenelsie's Corner (10/18)

My GTFI Family,

The testimony of the Lord is sure, for that which HE speaks and reveals to us about Himself is without change. HE is the same yesterday, today and forever. And the testimony which HE gives to man to speak magnifies the truth of what our Lord has revealed. HE is who HE says HE is, and HE does what HE says HE does--making wise the simple to those who believe HIM. Selah!

Your sister in Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

When They See War

During extended ministry concerning “Why The Lord God Won't Just Do It???,” we were given to understand that 'There's always something/or an obstacle between you and what God has promised.'
Exemplified when God led the children of Israel about, through the way of the wilderness, rather than directly into the promised land. [Pastor; Exodus 13:17-18]

This brings to mind an expression: “You've got to go through IT to get to IT.” which speaks to the God ordained template where “the Word is (always) tried;” from the garden to the cross. In order that we might reign with Christ, we must also suffer (the slings and arrows of affliction) with Him.
Remember NO CROSS NO CROWN.
[Psalm 18:30; Gen 3:15; Matt 20:18-19; 2 Tim 2:12]

The warfare (aka “The fight of faith”) is the result of 'the release of the enmity;' for “we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God.”
[Pastor; Acts 14:22, cf Matt 11:12]

ThenSingsMySoul:

WE ARE SOLDIERS IN THE ARMY
WE HAVE TO FIGHT ALTHOUGH WE HAVE TO CRY
WE'VE GOT TO HOLD UP THE BLOOD STAINED BANNER
WE'VE GOT TO HOLD IT UP UNTIL WE DIE!

Jenelsie's Corner (10/11/15)

My GTFI Family,

I have so much to share with you about this triumphant walk that our Father has me stepping through. Until He announces the time, then will you just join me in responding to His "lovingkindness" (covenant love) with "amens of praise and worship" to Lord Jesus and God our Father!

Love in Christ Jesus,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

Covenant Thinking

The thoughts of a “covenant man,” like David and Jesus; in the midst of life's adversities/and troubles, are developed in increments ...as we decrease and  Jesus increases. [Pastor; John 3:30]

In his lifetime, David experienced and overcame much opposition [Psalm 3:1-3]; as did Jesus, “a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief/and tribulation” [Isaiah 53:3; John 16:33]. Although David was not God, he was an advertisement (a foretaste) of the one made of his seed; declared to be the Son of God.                                                [Pastor; Matthew 1:1; Romans 1:3-4]

Covenant thinking is learning to make the right choices; as Jesus “learned through the things that He suffered;” and, being persuaded of the faithfulness of God's promises unto His own. [Hebrews 5:8; 10:23]

Therefore, “Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus: Who, being ...found in fashion as a man ...humbled Himself, and became obedient unto ...the death of the cross.” [Philippians 2:5-6,8]

HIS BANNER OVER ME IS LOVE!

Jenelsie's Corner (10/4/15)

My Grace and Truth Family,

"Christ in us, the hope of glory" is a phrase that I have spoken so many times. In these recent days, though, my eyes of understanding have been enlightened and enlarged. As I am moving through this trial with physical affliction, while I'm sleeping, eating, dressing, bathing, and walking, the new "with" has become more and more an experienced reality. My living, my moving, and my being are all accomplished by the union of the LIVING GOD through the person of Jesus Christ inside of me! Our Father is making His purpose in me, as the "new" creation of man, so fundamentally established in the paradigm of the kingdom of God.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, I proclaim to you that our "new" life in Christ Jesus manifests and prevails in our tribulation. Count them all joy! Our dependence (trusting) upon the Lord's faithfulness, because of our Father's covenant with us, is what gives us victory after victory--triumph after triumph. Beloved, it's all becoming so very clear!

Make no mistake, my family, that nothing shall be able to separate us from His love HE has given us in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!!!

Love you all,

Sister Jenelsie, Pastor's wife
