Covenant Thinking

The thoughts of a “covenant man,” like David and Jesus; in the midst of life's adversities/and troubles, are developed in increments ...as we decrease and  Jesus increases. [Pastor; John 3:30]

In his lifetime, David experienced and overcame much opposition [Psalm 3:1-3]; as did Jesus, “a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief/and tribulation” [Isaiah 53:3; John 16:33]. Although David was not God, he was an advertisement (a foretaste) of the one made of his seed; declared to be the Son of God.                                                [Pastor; Matthew 1:1; Romans 1:3-4]

Covenant thinking is learning to make the right choices; as Jesus “learned through the things that He suffered;” and, being persuaded of the faithfulness of God's promises unto His own. [Hebrews 5:8; 10:23]

Therefore, “Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus: Who, being ...found in fashion as a man ...humbled Himself, and became obedient unto ...the death of the cross.” [Philippians 2:5-6,8]
