The Breath Of Life

And God said, “let us (the Godhead) make man in our image, after our likeness; and God animated man by breathing into his nostrils the breath of life.”

[Gen 1:26] 

You might ask the question: To what end was man created? That he would be made “one,” joined to the “life” of the Godhead; to participate, thru “dominion,” over the works of God; and express the glory (and image) of God in/thru creation.

But man was not saved yet; thus, not fully enabled to exercise the dominion for which he was created. After the Holy Ghost was given, man was then  empowered.

The virtue of the power of God, in the midst of life's vicissitudes; to the working out of that salvation (with fear and trembling), is to every one that believeth.

After saying “As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you;” Jesus breathed on them , and said, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”

My Grace and Truth Family, 

The question is still ringing in my ear:  "When is the last time you were 'WOWED' by the Lord?"  And we can still ask ourselves how recently has it been since HE blew our minds? When is the last time HE literally performed beyond what we asked of Him or even what we thought HE would do? Are the answers to these questions simply out of our league or out of our reach?  The truth for many of us is that our day to day lives are filled with mundane, methodical, same old existences as usual. 

 The GOOD NEWS is that our LORD is addressing this entire "issue" when we assemble. The WORD of HIS POWER to "light our fire" is being spoken and given to us.  HE is making us alive to HIM again through HIS working in us, through us and for us according to HIS WORD!  HE is making us free to clap our hands, lift our heads, shout with joy, sing victorious songs--all by the release of a WORD full of HIS POWER!  HE is 'handing out' testimonies; believe HIM and accept them. 

Jesus came so that we would have "life" in this salvation and "life" more abundantly.  JESUS is LIFE and our LORD JESUS gives LIFE to us who have received HIS SALVATION. 

Our Lord JESUS is still in the "WOWING" business!  Hallelujah!

The End Of Salvation

(To) become what we were made to “be” (sons); one in the Father, and the Son. [Pastor; Jn 17:21; 1 Jn 3:1]

Thus are we called to fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold of eternal life (IN Him); who was made the captain of our salvation; that He might bring many sons unto glory (even God's presence).                        [1 Tim 6:12; Heb 2:10]

Eternal life is exclusively God's; but we have it (having been made partakers of, or participants IN Christ's life). Jesus said, “I give unto them eternal life; and  they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.” [Pastor; Jn 10:28] 

When Jesus told the Samaritan woman, at the well: “The water (Holy Ghost) that I shall give (you) ...shall be IN (you) a well ...springing up into everlasting life;” and the woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water (Holy Ghost).” And I say, Amen! [Jn 4:14-15]

The Word of (His) Power

Also known as the 'Rhema of His Ability;' or, the 'Tangible of the Intangible;' whereby God upholds all things, sustaining the accomplishments (judgments) of His “finished works.”

[Pastor; Heb 1:3, 4:3]

A 'rhema' is an utterance, or Word of release; an invisible force (or wind of the Spirit) from God, that speaks from within a believer; persuading the believer of the surety of God's power (or ability) to do just what He has said; because God is not a man, that He should lie. Hence, the virtue/strength of the speaking.

Because “nothing is impossible with God,” He has chosen to call the things which are not as though they were; that our calling and election would be “sure.”

[Pastor; Lk 1:37; Rom 4:17; 2 Pet 1:10]

By the Word of the Lord was everything made, that was made (or accomplished). For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

Dear Grace and Truth Family,

The Lord has soooo encouraged me by the Word of His Power spoken in our midst during our recent meetings.  With the grace to have my understanding enlarged, I certainly want my ears opened to hear HIM "the more and the more".  For HE has said that in HIS speaking through a vessel is the release of HIS Power, and my hearing to believe HIM is the work of the Holy Ghost until the WORD proclaimed is manifested.  Oh, the testimonials that HE has given to me!!!  Hallelujah!!!

Sisters and brothers, we are a blessed congregation in the Body of Christ to receive the Word of His Power by which HE upholds and perfects (brings to maturity) all things spoken concerning us.  Come, gather to hear HIM.

We Have (A) Treasure

Like the Potter, God (our Abba) is fashioning”vessels of honor,” that (we) might proclaim the knowledge of Him; as 'light bearers,'(of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ), and be a witness.                                                       [Marilyn H; 2 Tim 2:20; 2 Cor 4:4; Matt 5:16]

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath  shined in our hearts, that the brightness of His glory might be seen (in us) in the face of Jesus Christ.

To be a fruitful 'branch,' we must abide in The Vine (Christ Jesus); and die to ourselves, that we might speak life into others, by the Spirit that quickens.

My Grace and Truth Family, 

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  Blessings upon blessings as you eat from the tree of life (Jesus Christ), of which we are branches to put out leaves.  Branches were the design of our Almighty God from the beginning, and the leaves are for the healing of the nations.  HE prunes-cuts back, destroys-so that the branches hold and bear the good fruit intended from the seed.   

Receive from the Tree of Life--our sustenance, our nutrient--today.  Eat all which is served today and be blessed with strength and health to bear good fruit.
