Power To Witness

The service, in the sanctuary, recently, was dubbed Unusual; because of the flow of the “witness” to the “relationship” with Christ; through the Spirit.
[Acts 1: 8]

One saint after another testified to the Spirit's ability to elicit obedience to His instructions; to settle uneasiness, anxiety, and uncertainty, and to “cause” us to walk in His statutes.
[Eze 36:27]

ThenSingsMySoul: THROUGH IT ALL, THROUGH IT ALL, I LEARNED TO TRUST IN JESUS; I LEARNED TO TRUST IN GOD. THROUGH IT ALL, THROUGH IT ALL, I LEARNED TO DEPEND UPON HIS WORD.

After the “witness” was fully established, there was an utterance of “tongues” in the midst of the congregation; followed with an interpretation: (in part) “I AM the Lord your God ...who speaks forth My word ...and ...My life to My “body” ...working My will within you ...for you are My chosen people.”

ThenSingsMySoul: [PROPHECY] WITH THE SPIRIT, AND WITH THE UNDERSTANDING; O, MAGNIFY THE LORD!
[1 Cor 14:13-15]
After declaring we were as “dead, and blind men walking;” we were exhorted, by the Spirit, to walk by what we hear the Lord say; rather than what we see.
[2 Cor 5:7]

ThenSingsMySoul:
THE TESTIMONY OF THE LORD IS SURE, MAKING WISE THE SIMPLE. MORE TO BE DESIRED ARE THEY THAN GOLD, YEA, THAN MUCH FINE GOLD: SWEETER ALSO THAN THE HONEY FROM THE HONEYCOMB.
[Ps 19:7(b), 10]

Pentecost, The Response

“Behold, NOW is the day of salvation,” and Pentecost is the connection/the lifeline.
[2 Cor 6:2; Insp]
ThenSingsMySoul: THROW OUT THE LIFELINE! THROW OUT THE LIFELINE! SOMEONE IS DRIFTING AWAY; THROW OUT THE LIFELINE! THROW OUT THE LIFELINE! SOMEONE IS SINKING TODAY.
Why be  filled? “To fulfil all righteousness,” decreed in the scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, concerning the “blessing” of the “new wine.”
[Matt 3:15; Gen 12:12; Rev 11:13; Matt 9:17/TLB;]
ThenSingsMySoul: HAVE THINE OWN WAY, LORD; HAVE THINE OWN WAY; THOU ART THE POTTER, I AM THE CLAY.
“What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us ALL things?”
[Rom 8:31-32]
ThenSingsMySoul: MY HEART, MY MIND, MY SOUL BELONGS TO YOU. MY LOVE, MY LIFE, IT ALL BELONGS TO YOU. BELONGS TO YOU, IT ALL BELONGS TO YOU. BELONGS TO YOU, IT ALL BELONGS TO YOU.

Make this your Response:
Lord, “[Your Spirit] Be [in, and upon] me according to Your word”
[Lk 1:38b, vs 35; Eze 36:26-27]
Jesus said, “IF YOU ABIDE IN ME, AND MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU ...ASK WHAT YOU WILL ... IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU.”
[Jn 15:7]

Jenelsie's Corner (#271)

My Grace and Truth Family,
Our GOD is awesome!  What other god declares that he makes his word good?  What other god swears by himself to keep his promise?  What other god forgives and covers sin?  What other god draws his own by lovingkindness?  Is there another god greater who hears and speaks?  Which god has actually filled those whom he created with his spirit?
Our GOD is the only true and living GOD.  Our GOD is holy!  Our God has given us His Name—JESUS, and HE loves us.  Our GOD is awesome!

Jenelsie's Corner (#270)

My Grace and Truth family,
With hope and expectation we can rejoice today.  The connection made by the Father to those whom HE chose is all wrapped in our salvation and being filled with the Holy Ghost.  Just as it pleased the Father that in Jesus Christ should all the fullness of our God dwell, it also pleased the Father that in the church, the Body of Christ, should all the fullness of our God dwell.  Yes, HE is filling us severally as members of His body so that collectively we might shine as the “light of the world.”  What an awesome, wonderful Lord to give us the gift of the Holy Ghost!
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, “Rejoice”!
Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie

Pentecost, The New Wine

One look at this significant passage of scripture, in the gospels, points to the need for “new wineskins” (ie. a new creature, Gal 6:15) to receive the infilling of the “new wine;” promised to any man (woman, boy, or girl) who is IN Christ: “And who would use old wineskins to store new wine?” That was Jesus' inference to the need for “repentance” before the “baptism;” or the filling of the Spirit.                                                           “The old heart (wineskin) is only good for death, or displacement with a “new” heart (wineskin).”
[2 Cor 5:17; Matt 9:17/TLB; cf. Acts 2:38; Pastor]

The Holy Ghost is “the children's bread,” not to be withheld from all who are drawn unto Christ, by the Father.
[Mk 7:27 “let the children first be filled”; Jn 6:44]
Jesus said, “Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
[Matt 19:14; Lk 18:17]

Here's another refreshing hint of the promise, of the Spirit,  that is extended: “They that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled (with the Spirit).”
[Matt 5:6]

ThenSingsMySoul:
LORD, I'M THIRSTY, HUNGRY, DESPERATE
FOR YOUR PRESENCE.
LORD, I'M THIRSTY, HUNGRY, DESPERATE
FOR YOUR PRESENCE.
LET THERE BE LESS OF ME, AND MORE OF YOU;
LET THERE BE LESS OF ME, AND MORE OF YOU.
(repeat)

Jenelsie's Corner (#269)

Dear Grace and Truth Family,
“Let the church say ‘amen’” to our Lord in responding to what HE has spoken in this current series, The Connection To the ‘Blessing’ Pentecost.  The love of our Father yet abounds, and HE is drawing us to give understanding and to fill us with the Holy Ghost.  HE is opening up His Word to enlighten us about the “hope of His calling.”  As we eat we are growing in the knowledge of who our Lord is in, through and to us.  HE is so wonderful!
Hallelujah!

Pentecost, The Blessing, The Promise

Who would have ever thought that when the Lord said, “It is not good that ...man should be alone; I will make an help 'meet' for him,” that the Lord was speaking of the divine “connection” that the Holy Ghost would bring? The blessing of Pentecost was promised “that we might be made 'meet' to be partakers with Him” (with His divine nature, and purpose).[Gen 2:18; Pastor; 2 Pet 1:4]

These kinds of scriptural insights are not discerned naturally, but spiritually, as they are unveiled, by the Holy Ghost; who is an earnest of our inheritance. Have you received your inheritance? (the Holy Ghost) since you first believed? Jesus, the testator, died to give strength of force to the testament that “whosoever believeth in Him ...should have everlasting life” (ie. the promise of Pentecost)
[1 Cor 2:14; Eph 1:13b-14; Acts 19:2-6; Heb 9:16-17; Jn 3:16]

The Apostle Paul concluded, “What shall we say to these things? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with (Jesus) also freely give us all things?” “ Jesus said, “Ask (in My name), and ye shall receive (the promise of My Father) that your joy may be full.”
[Rom 8:31-32; Jn 16:24; Lk 24:49]

ThenSingsMySoul:

OH, SWEET SPIRIT, FALL ON ME,
LIKE THE FRESH DEW THAT FALLS
ON THE MORNING LEAVES.
LET YOUR ANOINTING SATURATE ME.
OH, SWEET SPIRIT, FALL ON ME!

Jenelsie's Corner (#268)

My sisters and brothers,
Thanksgiving to our Father for the kindness you showed last Sunday at the ‘Pastor Appreciation’ is ongoing.  Papa really does give us the desires of the new heart because HE places HIS desire there. Thusly the Lord has taught Pastor, even as HE has taught us through our shepherd, that the gathering of the saints on earth is unto the King of kings and Lord of lords.  Therefore in His presence we give Him His due praise and worship as our GOD—the desire of our pastor in every assembly.  Know that the fellowship with the saints in honoring our GOD was a real blessing to Pastor.
Also the monetary gift was a reward from HIM.  Yet since our Father does all things well, you can rest assured that all your needs shall be supplied by HIM, in that your sacrificial giving was of a willing new heart.  HE does not forget your labors of His love nor giving to His vessels.
As I am one with Pastor, we bless you, beloved, with prosperity and health even as your soul prospers.  I love you all with the love of the Lord Jesus.
Your servant,
Jenelsie Howell
