Pentecost, The Connection

For the record, “Jesus didn't come, from heaven to earth, to give us a new lifestyle; but He came to baptize/or fill us with the Holy Ghost (to tabernacle IN us, by His Spirit; to impart His life).”
[Pastor; Matt 3:11]

That mission was accomplished when the day of Pentecost was fully come, and “they were ALL filled with the Holy Ghost...”
[Acts 2:1,4]
Staying on message, Jesus told His disciples, Before I go [back] to My Father, “I will pray [to Him to] give you another Comforter...even the Spirit of truth ...that He may abide with you for ever ...for He dwelleth with you, and shall be IN you.”
[Jn 14:13, 16-18]

The Apostle Paul wrote to the church, at Rome, that “Now is our salvation nearer than when we [first] believed.”
If there is no “Now” (the earnest of the Spirit), we have no hope for a “Later” (ie. salvation/eternal life, as the end of your faith). “Behold, Now is the day of salvation;” and Pentecost is the connection.
[Rom 13:11; Pastor; 2 Cor 1:22; 1 Pet 1:9; 2 Cor 6:2]

Jenelsie's Corner (#267)

Dear Grace and Truth,
Blessings to you with these words:  From our God and Father through Lord Jesus we were chosen before the foundation of the world, as holy and without blame before HIM.  We were predestined unto the adoption of children by our Lord Jesus to HIMSELF, according to the good pleasure of HIS will and to His praise.  Our Lord has made us acceptable!  We are redeemed through His blood!  Our sins have been forgiven according to the riches of His grace!  Yes, Father God made our CONNECTION sure through our Lord…HE gave us the HOLY GHOST!
Let’s hear more together.  Hallelujah!
Love in Christ Jesus,
Sister Jenelsie

Jenelsie's Corner (#266)

My Grace and Truth Family,
Our Father has enlarged us with understanding regarding the “gift of the Holy Ghost.”  With a fuller and clearer understanding, we can gather with the other saints hungry and eager to hear how HE designed our connection to the “blessing”—HIM.  We can rejoice and be glad that God, our Father, has given us (the Body of Christ) this “unspeakable gift.”  Mere words just don’t express or describe the “connection”, but our worship by His Spirit according to the truth do.  How wonderful is our Father to give His children the “perfect” gift!  By the “gift of the Holy Ghost” we are walking into a realm of rejoicing with “joy unspeakable and full of glory.”  Hallelujah!
Your sister,

The End Game!

Just the thought gives new meaning to the real import behind Jesus' words, when He said, “I AM come that (you) might have [My] life ...”
[Jn 10:10]
Are you beginning to get a glimpse at the big picture?
To wit, that the ulterior purpose of the Father; from before the foundation of the world, was to restore His “connection/Spirit/Life” to His redeemed creation; by baptizing us with the Holy Ghost.
[Pastor; Matt 3:11]
On the day of Pentecost, when Peter was asked, “What shall we do [to be saved]?” Peter's reply was, “Repent, and 'be baptized' every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the 'gift' of the Holy ghost.”
[Acts 2:37-38]
The “promise of the Father” was given that we might have a three-fold relationship with the Spirit [of life]: With, IN, and upON us; to remain, and never leave us.
[Pastor; Jn 14:17; Acts1:8]
We like to say, “No Spirit, no life; know [the] Spirit, know life.”

ThenSingsMySoul:
THERE IS A RIVER, WHOSE STREAMS MAKE GLAD THE CITY OF OUR GOD.
IT CAME AND IT HEALED ME,
IT CAME AND IT FILLED ME,
IT CAME, AND IT WASHED MY SINS AWAY;
AND I WILL REJOICE, I WILL REJOICE,
AND BE GLAD!

Jenelsie's Corner (#265)

My Grace and Truth Family,
We ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.  For the “words” which are spoken to us are “spirit”, and they are “life”.  If we know the “time”, then we know that it is high time to awake out of sleep.  Receive and yield to the Holy Ghost who quickens us to “hear” HIM.
I love you in Christ Jesus our Lord!
