Just A Closer Walk

When the Spirit of the Lord spake, in our midst recently; it was a transformative, revelatory word, about living a “life” that God Himself lived “in this flesh” ...to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. [Pastor; 2 Cor 5:19]  

Life in this flesh depends on the faithfulness of God; who is willing and able to bring to pass His Word, on our behalf; and He tied His own being to it; hence “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us”       [Pastor; Jn 1:14]

In reality, we are crucified with Christ: nevertheless we are alive; yet we are not alive, but Christ lives in us: and the Life we now live “in this flesh” we live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved us and gave Himself for us. [Gal 2:20]

Anything apart from “that Life” is missing the mark for the kind of life that is to be in man. Jesus, being the model of “that Life,” increased (grew up) in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and man.      [Pastor; Lk 2:52]

My Grace and Truth Family,

In response to the love our Father has demonstrated already in this new year, I find myself "panting" after HIM.  How about you?

In response to the continual revelation of Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost as my Lord and Savior, I find myself yielding to HIM.  How about you?

In response to HIS faithfulness to present HIS WORD as living in me in the person of Jesus Christ, I find myself hungering for HIM and not being satisfied until I "eat His flesh".  How about you?

In response to HIS drawing me to HIMSELF so that we can share a "face to face" encounter, I find myself bowing and speaking to HIM time and time again throughout the day.  How about you?

In response to HIS presence in our midst when we gather, I find myself sanctifying this time with HIM in great expectation of our Lord ministering to and taking care of HIS body.  How about you?

I am being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.  How about you?

Things To Leave Behind:

WEIGHTS: Wherefore, seeing we are compassed about by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily beset us, and run with patience the race that is set before us. [Heb 12:1]

My Friends,

In the midst of what you are walking through this very day, hear these WORDS from our Father and be strengthened: "Finally my brother and sisters, when the door behind you is closed to leave this building, whatever is true, (Jesus is the truth) think about this.  Whatever is honorable in magnifying the faithfulness of our Lord, think on this.  Those things which are right by His grace, think about them.  Pure and lovely things which HE has manifested on your behalf, think about them.  The good report which the Lord has given you in your steps, think on these things.  If there is anything worthy of HIS praise,--and there is--, think on these things.  Our Father has given us HIMSELF in the person of JESUS to think about in every situation!

My Sisters and Brothers,

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus!  His grace is to us, and HE is for us.  No weapon formed against us shall prosper--a truth that is often elusive from our minds.  Because of His love and covenant faithfulness to us, His beloved, HE is able to renew our minds in the knowledge of the truth and establish our goings.

"So fear not in the place where you are now," says the Lord, "for My Spirit delivers you by My love and My power to a sound mind girded up again in truth.  So receive from ME; I know what you have need of and I give freely!  Remember I have been tempted in like manner by that which is not true, but Dad brought me through to overcoming victory.  Live by ME now; this victory is for you; our Father made it possible!"

The Journey/Pack Your Bags

Things to take:

EXPECTATION; waiting only upon God, trusting that Christ will be magnified; whether through life or through death. [Ps 62:5; Phil 1:20]

VISION; without which there would be no revealed direction or purpose, from God. But we must wait for it, for the vision is always on Daddy's time table.

[Prov 29:18; Hab 2:3; msngr/Rev. Buzbee]

CHOSEN; by God, to be a vessel of His purpose; to bring forth fruit that should last; that the scripture would be fulfilled. [Jn 15:16; Acts 9:15; Jn 13:18a]

INSTRUCTIONS: to teach us the way; and train us in righteous holy living, in conformity to Daddy's will.

[Ps 32:8; 2 Tim 3:16]

TRUST: in the Lord for ever; and He will keep your mind in perfect peace; for He is your rock, and the horn of your salvation. [Isa 26:3; 2 Sam 22:3]

RIGHTEOUSNESS: for those who hunger and thirst after it, are blessed to be filled. [Matt 5:6]

Christmas Glory

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us {Emmanuel}, (and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

[John 1:14]

 

Although He  made Himself of no reputation; to be made in the likeness of (sinful) man, He was born a king to be king; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, and be made kings and priests of God. [Phil 2:7; Pastor; 2 Cor 5:21; Rev 1:6]

Jesus prayed: “Father, I will that they ...whom Thou hast given Me be with Me ...that they may behold My glory ...And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them ...” [John 17:24,22]

Jesus' birth signaled the return of the glory of the Lord, that had long since departed from the midst of His people, Israel. [Pastor; 1 Samuel 4:21]
