My dear GTFI family,
Here is the question: Are we thankful for this life of salvation through our Lord Jesus which does not "require" a new year's resolution? The Lord God Almighty gives salvation without even the "smallest" promise from us before or after we accept "Him". JESUS is the real One who made the "resolution" to "do" the "will of God, His Father", to redeem and save us.
So here is another question: How can our new year's resolution benefit us in "His" salvation? We all know how hard it is to "live" by our own resolution. And we don't even have to! We are not "required" to! We are not designed to!
The truth, my family, is that we now live by Him who has "resolved" it all--our Savior, Jesus Christ! Let us trust in the God of our salvation!!
