Part
of the Word of the Lord, to the virgin Mary [Matthew 1:23], concerning the
destiny of the Son of God [Luke 1:35], that she would bear, was: “He shall
reign over 'the house of Jacob' for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no
end.”

And,
if we are sons of God [1 John 3:2], we too are joint heirs with Christ [Romans
8:16-17]; and fellow heirs of the commonwealth of Israel [Eph 2:11-13]; who
would come from the east, and ...west, and ...north, and ...south, and ...sit
down in the kingdom of God [Lk 13:29]...and reign with Christ. [2 Tim 2:11-12]
In the parable of the kingdom, Jesus likened
'the house of Jacob' to “a net that was cast into the
sea (of every kindred, tongue, people, and nation), and gathered of every kind: which when it was full, they
drew to shore ...and gathered the good into vessels.”
[Matthew 13:48; Rev 5:9]
And so it is for every descendant of Abraham,
and heir to the promised “blessing;” sought and apprehended by Jacob.
