Jenelsie's Corner (4/24/16)

My GTFI Family,

"Think it not strange" when we are faced with situations and experiences in the coming days which serve as trials of our faith in our Father--the very One who has sent 13 "words" entitled "Un-Packing Believe."

Remember when our Lord Jesus taught us about the various grounds and manifestations of the type of soil in which seed has been sown. The Holy Ghost opened up the mystery of this parable to us and gave understanding to His manner of working and perfecting our "faith in God" by the 'seed' which has taken root in our hearts. So then as we are called "children of Abraham," surely we shall live by (learn) the faith of the Son of God who "pleased" Father God and walked in the steps of the "father of His faith." While we go through the vicissitudes of life, troubles and afflictions, we learn how to "give glory to God" and walk from victory to victory--"the just shall live by faith."

Hallelujah! ...And how shall we hear His voice to walk by faith unless we have a preacher! Oh, how HE loves us to give such a preacher.

Hallelujah again!!!

Your sister,
Jenelsie, Pastor's wife

Unpacking "Believe" Part 8

The purpose of the Un-Packing of “Believe” IN us, is, that we might be anchored in, and have (a sure) confidence in, the One Who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light ...by the hearing of “faith.”
[Pastor; 1 Peter 2:9(b); Galatians 3:2]

Our father Abraham did not stagger at (nor was he doubtful of) the “promises” of God [Romans 4:20]; being fully persuaded (made surely confident) that what God had promised He would fulfill; not just because God is able to, but because of His covenant faithfulness. [Romans 4:21; Pastor]

Because Abraham believed God (the response of faith), it was imputed unto him for righteousness ...resulting in Abraham being called the Friend of God.
[James 2:23]

The songwriter penned: AND HE WALKS (IN) ME, AND HE TALKS (IN)/WITH, and THRU ME, AND HE TELLS ME I AM HIS OWN; AND THE JOY WE SHARE AS WE TARRY THERE (spending precious alone time, in this relationship), NONE OTHER HAS EVER KNOWN. [C Austin Miles]

ThenSingsMySoul:

STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF CHRIST, MY KING,
THROUGH ETERNAL AGES LET HIS PRAISES RING!
GLORY IN THE HIGHEST, I WILL SHOUT AND SING,
STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD.

[Russel K Carter, pub 1886; Ephesians 6:13]

Unpacking "Believe" Part 7

When the Glory of the Lord appeared unto our father, Abraham, he believed the Voice of God; and his obedient response of faith was to Who God is.
[Acts 7:2-4; Hebrews 11:8; Pastor]

To “Believe” God is to give Glory to God; whereby faith is tried, and undergirded, and substantiated.
[Pastor]

Abraham was strengthened in faith, giving Glory to God ...being fully persuaded that what God had promised him, He (God) was able to bring to pass.
[Pastor; Romans 4:20-21]

Man was made to give Glory to God; and this obedient response is the overcoming “Amen” of faith.
[Pastor]

ThenSingsMySoul:

WHERE (WHEN) HE LEADS (CALLS) ME
I WILL FOLLOW (ANSWER) 3xs
I'LL GO WITH HIM, WITH HIM
ALL THE WAY!

Unpacking "Believe" Part 6

“Believe” is also known as “the Faith of God.”
And “the Faith of God” (or “Believe”) is working IN us the “Amen” (of The Son) to the Voice of God; or all the spoken Word/or rhema (revelation) of His promises.
[Pastor]

Our father, Abraham [Rom 4:11, “the father of all ...that believe”] responded to (or believed) the Voice of the Lord [Gen 12:1-4], and not a script; for the “Amen” of “Faith” is not to a script, but to a person.
[Pastor]

To paraphrase the scripture, that is written:  “But without faith it is impossible to please (God); for he that (comes) to (or draws near to God, by consent) must believe that He is (real), and that He (God) is a rewarder (or remunerator) of them that diligently seek (after) Him.” [Hebrews 11:6]

ThenSingsMySoul:

SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD,
AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS;
AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU;
HALLELU, HALLELUJAH!

[Matthew  6:33]
