Jenelsie's Corner (04/19/15)

My Grace and Truth Friends,

For our edification and stirring up again, and again, consider that He has opened the eyes of our understanding so we might know the hope to which we have been called. We put you in remembrance...

Just a few weeks ago, our Father gave us our own GTFI "expression" as He taught us in a series about the reason Jesus was born. During the teaching, Holy Ghost pointed out Peter in a different light, and called him the disciple who actually "walked on the wild side." We were reminded that though Peter was just as afraid as everyone else in the boat when they saw 'someone' walking on the water towards them, the disciple answered the quandary after Jesus identified Himself: Will I trust You right now? The response that Peter gave literally launched him into an experience of "walking on the wild side."

The 'word' of His power was simply spoken to all the disciples -- "come!" As Peter received that 'one' word which carried the power for him to walk on the water, the "wild side" became a reality step by step! Jesus knew exactly what HE was saying to Peter and what His Word would accomplish in him. The Lord speaks His Word to perform it.

What a ministry of hope to us (believers, the church) now to whomever receives the WORD to 'come walk on the wild side'!!

Hallelujah!

Your sister,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife
