“It,” being the “Promises” of God,
is settled IN the Lord (“and IN Him they are Yea, and Amen!”).

Because “It” is settled IN the
Lord, and the “Promises” are received in “steps;” The “steps” of a good man are
ordered by the Lord.”

For example, The”steps” of
Abraham; the father of our Faith,”were ordered by the Lord; when He commanded
(Abraham): “Arise walk through the (promised) land...I will give unto thee.”
And (Abraham) removed his tent (“step” one)...and dwelt in Hebron, and he built
...an altar unto the Lord (“step” two).

Abraham's faith was perfected by
Christ, “the author and finisher of our faith.” And we are admonished to
receive the same mind and “follow (in) His steps.”
