The day was a Friday ...the year
was 2015. It was around 'High Noon' when pastor's wife had a near death
experience at home; and, in spite of all the odds, Jenelsie stood (in the
strength of the Spirit) on the words of the Psalmist (David) that says, “I
shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord;” and she repeatedly
proclaimed, “Lord, Let me live!”
[Psalm 118:17]
That evening, pastor called an
emergency prayer meeting, in their home; where the saints gathered together for
worship and intercession ...and, when
all was said and done, Jenelsie
was able to take her first tentative steps; since being immobilized in her bed
earlier, and toddle into the living room; and sit down in our midst, and
declare, “The Lord ...inclined unto me, and heard my cry.”
[Psalm 40:1]
A few miraculous weeks later, the
Lord brought Jenelsie through major surgery; leaving only a “marker” as
evidence of His extraordinary handiwork. All the more reason to Celebrate His
goodness.
[Pastor; Psalms 34:8]
ThenSingsMySoul:
O MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME,
AND LET US EXALT HIS NAME
TOGETHER.
I SOUGHT THE LORD, AND HE HEARD
ME,
AND DELIVERED ME FROM ALL MY
FEARS.
[Psalm 34:3]
