Jenelsie's Corner (1/3/16)

My Grace and Truth Family,

..."Looking to Jesus" and "pressing towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!..."

The author and finisher of our faith is our Lord Jesus! HE was fully "man" living out the high calling of God. the "man" Jesus was appointed, even destined, to be touched with the feelings of the infirmities experienced by mankind after "sin" in the garden. So then HE too was tempted to "react" as "God" in situations just as we are tempted. HE found Himself praying (as man ought to always do) without ceasing to overcome every temptation and to be strengthened by the Holy Ghost to say, "Not My will but Yours be done." HIS FATHER was faithful to hear HIS SON in prayer and to demonstrate a "oneness," unknown to "man" after "sin." Jesus lived in the earth to "fulfill" the will of the FATHER to walk in relationship and fellowship with HIM.

Beloved, we have been given the same Holy Ghost to work within and cause us to respond to the high calling as "new man" in the earth, inseparably joined to Jesus, WHO inseparably joins us to our FATHER. "...Looking to Jesus!" The promise of our Lord is never to leave nor forsake us; HE knows we have a "calling to fulfill."

Hallelujah, what a Savior!!

Your sister,

Jenelsie, Pastor's wife
