In addition to being the
observance of “The Head of the Jewish New Year,” Rosh Hashanah is also known as
(the Feast of/or festival of) Trumpets ...the sounding of the shofar (a
hollowed out rams horn). [Leviticus
23:4; 24; Numbers 10:8]
As Passover was/and is a type and
shadow of Messiah, “The Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world”
[John 1:29]; even so, Trumpets is a type and shadow of “The Trump of God” [1
Thess. 4:16] aka “The Last Trump” [1 Cor. 15:52] that will announce Messiah's re-appearing; to catch away His
Bride.
And John, the Revelator, “saw
heaven opened, and ...a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called
Faithful and True, and ...The Word of God ...and out of His mouth goeth a sharp
sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and ...rule them with a rod of
iron ...And He hath on His vesture and ...thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS,
AND LORD OF LORDS.”
