Mankind is like a “tree” (a branch
of righteousness); a “planting” (grafted in the Vine) of the Lord , and the
Lord God, Himself, is the Husbandman;
Who nurtues and grooms us to blossom, and be fruitful in every good work, in due
season.

Man is the only creature capable
(by divine design) of making a “choice;” between “Life” and “death.”

Implicit in the “hearing” of the
voice/Word of God is a “choice” to be made by man; to trust/rely/and depend
upon God's Word (aka, live by faith); or choose to believe the lie, that “ye
shall not surely die.”

This “way” of living is accomplished by “prayer;”
or asking and receiving strength and direction from God; choosing not to (try
to) be God. [Pastor; Phil 2:6-7]
