“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which
endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you:” [Jesus; John 6:27]
“That meat” is also known as Jesus
Christ, “The Living Bread; which, “if any man eats (or
hears) he shall live for ever:” [John 6:51]
In His High Priestly prayer, Jesus
said: “Father, I have given them the Words that Thou
gavest Me; and they have received Them, and have known ...that I came out from
Thee, and have believed that (You sent Me).”

At the mount of transfiguration, a
Voice (of God) declared:
“This is My beloved
Son, in Whom I AM well pleased; Hear ye Him.” (or eat His Words) [Matthew 17:5]
