Jesus, The
Word made flesh, was tried
(wounded/broken, for our transgressions) and proven (bruised/crushed, for our
iniquity/sin) ...and became the example of the outworking of His salvation.
[Jn 1:13; Ps 18:30; Isa 53:5]
That is why we have not a High
Priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities (or moral
frailty); but, in a body of flesh, He was in all points tempted/tried like as we are, yet without sin.
[Heb 4:15]
We are saved, not “from” trials
but “through” trials/and tests, for the relationship of “by faith;” that our
faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God ...that,
though it be tried with fire, our faith might be found unto praise and honor
and glory when Christ appears.

Cor 2:5; 1 Pet 1:7]

THOUGH TRIALS COME ON EVERY HAND,
