Ask Of Me

The legacy/or inheritance of the resurrection “for us,” is the “access” we now have “by one Spirit” unto the Father; to “ask” and “receive.”
[Eph 2:18; Jn 16:24]

When the Father said to the Son, “Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for thine inheritance,” He was confirming His covenant determination to pass the sceptre/staff/rod of rulership to Shiloh; His anointed.
[Ps 2:8-9; Gen 49:10]

Likewise, Jesus taught: “It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom ...so, Whatsoever ye shall ask in My name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
[Lk 12: 32; Jn 14:13-14]

This is the benefit of our present possession/or experience, in the now; that comes through the dynamic of asking.
[Pastor; Jn 15:16]

ThenSingsMySoul:

IF YOU ABIDE IN ME, AND MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU,
ASK WHAT YOU WILL, IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU.
HITHERTO HAVE YE ASKED NOTHING IN MY NAME:
ASK, AND IT SHALL BE DONE, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL.

[Jn 15:7; 16:24]
