Jenelsie's Corner (#231)

Dear Grace and Truth family,

My, how we have referred to and counseled others by posing this question, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?”  As long as we are sitting in the driver’s seat hauling a truck load of victories and shouting “hallelujah”, our response comes so quickly and easily—“No, there’s nothing too hard for the Lord”.  However, when we are being driven as we sit in the back of the truck, feeling every bump in the road and seeing arrows which point to detours, the answer can be debatable.  At this point, the real question we now ask is whether or not the Lord wants us to experience this “hard thing”.

In our midst, sisters and brothers, the question remains the same as it did to Abraham.  The Lord’s purpose and His way embody the answer—“No, there is nothing too hard for God!”  HE declares His power, and we declare our trust in HIM.  We have been placed in a position now—in Christ Jesus—to know the exceeding riches of His grace; to rejoice in the truth that HE is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  Unto HIM be glory in the church by Christ Jesus!

Your sister,
Jenelsie
Pastor’s wife
